FTA-TV Australian Survivor - Heroes vs Villains (Jan 2023)

Without looking back through the thread, did anyone mention George’s confessional where his face looked like it had healed for at least a week post the demolition of the heroes tribe?
Go back through the streaming replay and watch the interview with George. His face was significantly less messed up in his confessional. It was completely obvious at that point, that he wasn’t going home.

Was happy to see Mike go tonight as he is a complete dickhead. I hope George doesn't last too long though. Had to laugh when George told Stevie that he didn't want to do the puzzle with him as they wouldn't be on the same wavelength. He was right about that. Stevie actually had a clue.

It was more obvious to me when they showed up at tribal and Simon was in the singlet (not shirt) and George’s hat (that he burns at some point from the previews) was nowhere to be seen.

Very, very enjoyable tribal council. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot. George didn’t even have to do anything outside of a base level goading, but did it well.

Some floggish comments about his injury need to be rescinded earlier in the thread methinks.

George with a lucky escape again thanks to Michael making the rookie mistake of going too hard too early and making himself a bigger target.

Michael may have been a bit of a dick but getting rid of him will only make the Villains tribe even weaker so I wouldn't be surprised if they are back for another tribal tomorrow night.

Fun enough episode but it's hard to see this season as being anything but a procession for the returning players. Michael appeared to be way out of his depth because he was, and he probably knew the show as well as any of the newbies.

Which is why they should mix up the seasons by just having all new players every second season.

You have players that have played before but not only that but players like Simon, Shonee, George, Jordie, Shaun, Flick, Hayley went all deep into their seasons. The newbies are like lambs to the slaughter - we have lost 2 of the 13 newbies already.

Or at the very least if they want returning players for marketing, just have a couple.

This season could easily have been Hayley v George with the rest all newbies, you get the best of both worlds there.

Can't stand him, but Jordy the Joker sailing nicely under the radar so far, no chaos required just yet.
Returning players usually get that not being a twit early on when the people who are getting voted out won't be anywhere near the jury is the way to go. You start to come into your own once the people you are sending out have a say on whether you deserve the win.
