Have actually enjoyed almost all of the twists in the Aussie Survivor, much better than some of the US stuff like redemption island.

All have kept changing the dynamic and seeing different players get to play a different hand.

Also dont get the angst about no tribal? The tribe mix-up after the reward was a bigger impact to the game than a bog standard tribal council.

I think it's the lack of people leaving that is bringing any angst rather than the latest episode.
We had a non-tribal because Peter left, then the two tribe swap, then Teagan goes, then another episode without somebody going. For a game that is based around somebody going each episode, if we use the US model, only one person going in the past four episodes stands out.

But two people went out this week alone.

Thought I'd hate this non-elimination episode but didn't mind it actually. I've liked the twists so far but they really are coming too thick and fast for my liking. A different twist a week is going to get old quickly.

I'd like LaPaglia to come out with a "you're going to have to dig deep" at some stage also :p

Am I the only one who likes Phoebe in this ?

She seems nice enough and is less annoying than a number of others.

Although maybe I'm biased cause I've got the hots for her.
It's a good enough reason.
The tribe swap was horrible for her. Lost El, Lee . Stuck with Rohan, Kat and Christie and is the minority alliance on her tribe.

Yeah lee's a powerhouse and I reckon he'll go far.

As someone who hasn't watched a tonne of survivor in the past, players like Lee will be kept around as a strength to the tribe until there are no tribes right?

Ofren they get targeted before the merge as players fear they'll go on an individual immunity spree and be impossible to get rid of.
