Ding ding ding.

Phoebe did really well this episode and doesn't deserve to be the bottom of your rankings, Filthy Sanchez. Kat does without a doubt. Shit at challenges + letting grudge hinder your own game.
My thinking was Pheobe gathered the most votes and lost her main ally. She's clearly at the bottom of a very large pile at Vavau so therefore is most likely to go next. I didn't take into consideration how well they were playing, as she clearly saved her backside this episode playing Rohan as the fool he is.

That was a really great episode of survivor last night. It'd be a shame for it not to continue pay this season even if it seems unlikely.

- Lee in the mud challenge was possibly the best example of unadulterated joy in TV history. Loved every second of it.

- Kate went into absolute beast mode in the water netball challenge. Was like the T1000 in sheer determination.

- Surely the big boys should've tried something more than just keeping each other out of the contest though. TSW with the clutch Lau to end it though. Took so much time lining it up that he simply had to hit the shot.

- I liked the teams embrace after the challenge too in recognition that the massive physical battles weren't a personal thing. Nice touch that you don't see so much in the US version.

- Andrew is a complete tool and it will be great to see him voted out, although I'm sure it'll be after the merge and we'll have to put up with him giving a sanctimonious rant at the final tribal full of bastardised analogies.

- Rohan's exit couldn't have been any more perfect. I know Survivor has had a few morons over the years, but had there been any quite as stupid as Rohan?

- Phoebe is an absolute player, but has been screwed over by the tribe swaps. She had Rohan around her little finger, but when you're not part of a larger alliance that's not so useful. Pretty sure she will be the next to go, which she doesn't deserve.

- Kat's vindictiveness is an extremely unattractive personality quality, but it's pretty understandable couldn't even bother waiting until she was out of earshot to talk crap about her.

- Am I the only one happy to see Conner in a safer position? His speech about honesty and loyalty seems to have reaped dividends.

As impressive as Pheobe's strategic scrambling was, shes only got herself to blame for being in that position

She created the cluster**** that was Aganoa because from day 1 she wanted to be puppet master.

All well and good to be in a position of power early but take a shit tribe into a merge and all that power evaporates very quickly
A lesson Andrew might be learning very soon

Welp, that might have been a surprise if Channel 10 didn't basically tell us that was happening all week in the promos. Geez, Rohan makes the biggest blunder ever whilst at Tribal Council? Well ****, I guess their team loses immunity and he gives up the idol and goes home?

Will save us watching the 3 nights a week if they just tell us what's happening in each promo.

The Smaller Warrior surely was hoping LaPaglia moonlights as a Port scout to see your calmness under pressure to slot the clutch goal at the death.
Matt's effort in that challenge was probably the best effort in Port colours this year. :p

I feel sorry for Conner. It was his honesty and naivety at the Saanapu tribal which swayed Matt to vote for him which in turn got him swapped out. If it wasn't for that little moment, Matt would have voted for Flick who then would have taken Brooke over to Vavau. Saanapu would be so much better off without Flick.

Yeah Kat's got no idea. A bit of a Kass type player. Makes the biggest bonehead move at the dumbest time and then spends the rest of the game (and future iterations in Kass's case) gloating about how great a player they are.

Poor Phoebe did everything right last night, predicted their vote perfectly, was just let down and hung out to dry by being aligned with petty morons.

Love Jonathan - the only line I don't really like is 'immunity is back in play' rather than Probst's 'immunity is back up for grabs', but I'm nitpicking
He says a lot of stuff different to Probst. "Talk about it" instead of "strategize" shits me.

It's probably on purpose.

Still i thought last night's ep he was waaaay more relaxed, had some banter with the tribes. Banter is good.

I switched off last night as soon as the vote happened.

I reckon you're just going to have to do that and completely avoid channel 10 ads until the next eps, if you dont want to know.

Yeah there's a lot he says differently, but that's the one I dislike.

I turn the TV off after Tribal, I hate the preview spoilers, then last night my mate told me they show the votes during the credits:oops:
LMAO did you not know that???! They should switch those two things around- so you can turn off if you want but still get to see the vote reveals.

ch10 promo was too obvious, once we reached TC you kinda of assumed the blunder was related to the immunity idol. Next time ch10 needs to be more discreet,.

And, some of these contestants are dumb, they dont know how to play Survivor and making the wrong moves.

Kat is too bitter, she clearly expects people to agree with her all the time.

It's not her fault the tribe was shithouse. And Kat not being voted out has come back to bite her too, which considering Kat only survived because Peter quit is not Pheobe's fault at all either.

Pheobe's been the unluckiest player by a wide margin.

They should’ve kept des or the other guy, and voted out Kat ages ago. She was clearly the weakest link from day 1.

Not sure, if I like this new tribe mix up because now the blue tribe will dominate the physical challenges.

Des had to go. Evan was super unlucky though. You gotta vote for strength at that point. Even if Evan possessed the rare and powerful ability of knowing how to act. Voting him over Kat made no sense then, and the mistake just amplifies as the weeks go on. Butterfly effect.

Definitely. Think her luck will likely run out next tribal. Can't see the Vavau tribe keeping her. I'm not sure she offers much more than Kat during challenges but is clearly the better strategist and more of a threat. Kat's the prime FTC goat at the moment.

Wonder if the producers start changing up immunity challenges at this point. Saanapu clearly hold the advantage in any strength-challenge, with Kate the only Vavau threat in "pound-for-pound" competition (Craig can probably hold his own but that's it). Matt and Nick give Saanapu the puzzle edge as well. Looking like they'll cruise unless the producers look to nullify the advantage somehow
