Feel sorry for Henriques really. Thats career ending s**t right there....is Khawaja injured?
He has played a lot of ODIs and has a reasonable record now. Who else do you think could be opening?
Shaun Marsh is the only one who springs to mind who is over there.
Just hasn't been selected so far. Not sure they can go with Henriques next match, so we may see him (or SOS).

Do you find him particularly ungraceful as a batsman?Can't see what can be done about the problems with playing spin. It's just a shambles.
But Henriques needs to go. His brain must be fried by now.

Pretty awful side we've got in at the moment - Henriques, Lyon and Head all shouldn't be in there. I can understand the reasoning why they want to provide Head with a few chances to become familiar with the international scene, but bowling four overs.... Why?

One issue with this team is that none of our top 5 batsmen (Warner, Finch, Smith, Bailey, Wade, SMarsh, Khawaja, etc) are legitimate bowling options. Finch or Smith could get through an over or two if they had to, but it's not like they can send down a full 10 overs in an ODI. If you're going to send Mitch Marsh home, then you pretty much have to play "nothing" players like Henriques, or force Head to bowl when he's not really up to it yet.
For all his flaws, Maxwell at least provides a genuine 5th option who can get through plenty of overs if he has to.
