What about Australian leg spinners who played first class overseas. There was a young leg spinner (smith) in Sydney who was in nsw squads and took a lot of wickets. Last I heard he played first class in new Zealand for the volts.

yeah williams had a tough outing.

1/130 over the two innings of just under 20 overs.

i didn't see him bowl on the shield stream but those that did said he was all over the shop.

out of interest what does the winner of that show get??

NSW - Adrian Tucker

A contemporary of Warne's who was touted for big things. Never really met the expectations demanded of him, but also focused more on his career as an equities trader. Made news in 2004 when he played a first-class game after a decade's absence.
Pretty sure the only other headlines Adrian Tucker made was when Tom Moody hit him for 30 off one over in a Shield game.

It's a tough life if you're a leggie and they ain't coming out right.

Anyone mentioned Tim Zoehrer? rated by several judges as the best leggie in the country in the mid-80s.

And a personal favorite - Richie Robinson. Retired from keeping for Victoria and moved to Queensland. Played a bit of district and rolled his arm over a bit. Got so good at the leggies, he was apparently considered for the Queensland side.
