Hopefully no.

His bowling has looked manifestly unthreatening every time I've seen him and his record suggests his strength very much lies in throwing the bat and not longer form stuff. I guess that's the luxury of Dhoni at 6 though

He is still in initial phase. His bowling is below par but his batting ( the maturity ) has improved. When he played for India 'A', his batting skills expanded. Before, it was just smash and smash. But now, he has been working on that and he has improved a lot. He can put his head down and play. He still has to improve. Hopefully, in near future, he transforms to Indian version of Stokes. And ya, as you told, having MSD at 6 helps us to experiment with the likes of Jadhav/Rahul/Pandey/Pandya.

Kohli gets on fine when we're playing against the other sides. He just talks some s**t when we're playing Australia, most likely in retaliation to numbnuts like Wade and Maxwell.

had a run in Shikar Dhawan in the recent Test series in australia when Dhawan refused to come out to bat first up in the morning citing an injury
Gautam Gambhir in the IPL, where Kohli confronted his former India teammate face to face after getting out
match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and the Mumbai Indians in 2013 saw him booed by an all indian crowd
gave a mouthful to a chennai fan in 2015 IPL after getting out
abused a journalist after training at the world cup who he thought wrote an article about him, wasnt even the same person
sooked in up in harare in 2013 and undermined the umpires when he was out and demanded a review after being given out and refusing take a players word on a fair catch.
pakistan in the 2015 world cup sledged sohail khan then incited the crowd
repeatedly screams obscenities at departing batsmen

so it seems its only australians, crowds, teammates, journalists, umpires and opposition players he doesnt get along with. im sure hes a great bloke otherwise.

Kohli is extremely quick to accuse others of anything, but refuses to acknowledge that he is far from a perfect cricketer

The last coach of India as well got the sack because of Kohli

It's a well known Australian tactic to go the sledge when their skills aren't good enough. It was laughable how they started having a go at Pandya when he came in. Especially from nobodies like Handscomb.

can we play the race card now too seeing as there are more indians than australians?

I don't much like the way Kohli plays, but after the watching Steve Waugh be lionised for his strategy of mental disintegration it's a bit hard to to take our whinging seriously.

Kohli is undeniably a gun Test batsman (albeit with a bit to prove in some conditions), probably the best odi batsman ever, and a seemingly good captain.

He’s also undeniably a ********.

Honestly the amusing part of his behaviour for me is that so many Australian fans are now obsessed with seeing him fail. It's hilarious considering a lot of their past players were exactly the same as he is now.

not saying we are or were angels, but it doesnt justify another persons bad behaviour

also dont remember steve waugh confronting his own players on the field or abusing fans

Ricky Ponting was much the same.

Also if he or his players kept butting heads with each other they wouldn't be where they are now. It's quite clear all the players love playing in this side.

we'll get an actual idea of where you are when you play south africa away in february, which will be the first test series you have played outside the subcontinent since mid 2016 and just the second since the 14/15 series in australia.
