Carey get Zamps off.. going at 15 an over. Turner bowls decent off spin.

Good first over in international cricket by Wes Agar.

It’s criminal that pollard never even attempted a red ball career. The bloke can genuinely play
Is it that he never attempted, or that the WICB saw him only as an ODI specialist? I agree that it has been one of the strangest non-selections of the past 10 years.

He hasn’t played a first class match for six years but he averaged 37 and hit four hundreds in 27 games.

it is surprising that he was never given a chance at that stage and I’d say he saw the dollar signs and thought it wasn’t worth pursuing

Could very well have been the case. Realistically he could have slotted into the Test team sometime well before 2010. Averaging 37 in Windies domestic is nothing to scoff at.

You'd think he'd be in the best XI to never play test cricket
My attempt at selecting such a team. I'm sure there are quite a few others I can't think of right now.

Jamie Cox
Ryan Campbell+
Jamie Siddons
David Hussey
Steve Tikolo
Ryan ten Doeschate
Clive Rice
Franklyn Stephenson
Alan Kourie
Don Shepherd
Garth Le Roux

Unlucky: Mahadevan Sathasivam, Eddie Gilbert, Kieron Pollard, Ian Harvey, Bart King, Vince van der Bijl, Ray Jennings

Steve Tikolo is a good selection! Once saw him destroy in a domestic game in Dhaka back in 2001

I reckon Tikolo could have walked into most Test sides circa 1999 - 2003.

Edit: Probably could have included Kyle Coetzer up top. Would sub him him for Campbell & play Jennings as keeper ahead of one of the middle order batsmen, possibly ten Doeschate.
