Great answer Max.
“May as well stay home”.
Yes Max, and we may as well not watch.
You may as well get up tomorrow morning and watch USA racing if you think that is racing. Please... it's ridiculous - go back to the 70s and 80s and you won't see that s**t. It's not hard racing, it's stupidity and showing his inability to make a pass without contact.

Why? I hate people who say lets enjoy racing.. otherwise you may as well let them barge each other off like they are playing an arcade game. He took the position by driving him off. Look at the lap before when Le Clerc went around the outside and drove past him again. He knew that was going to happen so he biffed him off the circuit. Yes we want fast racing and overtakes, but you're advocating for USA style racing...
Well if you can’t go up the inside, get ahead then take the normal driving line, why bother even attempting overtakes?
You know, Charles had the option of taking his car out of danger by backing off.

So Charles has to back off because Max is deliberately trying to run him off the track? That is stupid. * it, just allow demolition derby.

Love seeing actual racing too but when you are taking a right hand corner and you steer left in the middle of it, that's not on.

Could be riots if they penalise him.

Looking at it, I think you have an argument, he did pudh him off the track.

Yes yes, Prost, Senna, Schumacher, no contact racing back then was there?
You are comparing 1.2 metre wide cars with 2 metre wide cars.
No comparison.

Hmm and remind me what happened when that type of contact was involved? Two of them were excluded from Championships...

Max drove the wheels off that car today, sure but RBR desperately need a better second driver. That is a terrible effort by Gasly to be that far behind the top 5

If you have the inside line, you can keep driving straight preventing the other guy turning in. You cant turn into them though.
No, you can't. You have to still take your line otherwise it's a penalty as well because you are deliberately running him off track.. unless you are locking up.

No it’s not.
Biggest overreaction of the night.
He never pointed him off. He never spun, he never hit a wall.
Any of those things happened and you have a valid case for “demolition derby”.
There was a comment earlier about Norris when he did a Dan dive for an overtake. In that case it was clean because the opponent knew he was done and protected both cars by acknowledging that fact.

they had one, he;s now just drowning at renault. wonder if both sides regret that parting of the ways

Why would you not hold off the presentations until its decided, this is ridiculous, they could be about to take it off them.

Biggest overreaction of the night is correct - by you. He did point him off. He drove into him and across to the kerb. He made it the lap before - why didn't he do it that lap in the same point? If Leclerc can turn that far.. why can't Verstappen? He's an idiotic and rash driver who says s**t like that to help him get away with brainless overtakes.
