I agree, and find it very strange tbh. One of the things I always jealously hated about those hawks teams is that they did all those little things so well. I always assumed it was Clarko’s doing. Maybe it was, but we’re just too FUBAR’ed to learn or put it in practice.
It probably was Clarko’s influence but I can guarantee it was the leaders prior to those players who showed what commitment to the context was all about.

Went out with my North cap on today and couldn't give a stuff what other people think. Ill never hide who i am and some ribbing is always friendly banter.
So proud of you ROOStaR, great post and as for snapping, look we are all human and this tells me how passionate you are, we are all loyal to the end and this is important because these are dark times my friend, at the moment! 👍

Besides the cluster f…k of a game, the collective groan when Chom went down holding his knee (or ankle maybe), but then thankfully got up and hobble ran it off. Was heart in mouth stuff.

Drury you cant be serious???? last week he was in the best of a small lot and at least he got a touch yesterday unlike a few of his mates. There are a few on the drop list before him including a captain or 2
I want to bring in more aggressive players. Tell me, where does Drury play and why do we need him? I'm not saying he can't be a great player, or he hasn't done some good things - but he is so slight and small - when it comes time to swing momentum I want to see guys that can at least half a contest.

How has this changed so drastically since pre-season and the first few rounds? The players themselves commented on how the plan is simple and understandable. 'North-ball' seemed to be working with quick movement all over the ground, players seemed fit and firing.

Cut to round 5 and 6 and we're chipping slowly around the wings every chance we get.
Lack of confidence and now mentally fragile not being able to reset in game. Yes killed by a draw from hell, but they need a circuit breaker. Some kind of of pressure release. Very very hard to do that, but I would be completely changing the pre-game routine, change the quarter/half time routine, and installing something ultra aggressive in training.

They need to learn to get angry - its time for us to cop some fines.

Not the worst of ideas - it felt to me like they weren't actually angry about losing until in the 3rd quarter when the result was mostly decided, rather than early in the 2nd when it would have made a difference.

Its a double edged sword, become to emotional and you start giving away 50s like the other week.
