Having forwards that could mark the ball was the difference.

Literally Treacy was a massive difference because he gave them a marking target who took his marks.

The selection of Kallan Dawson was a massive blunder. What a ****ing potato.

A smaller LMac kept Voss quiet. He ran riot against Dawson. Tell him to clean his locker out the spud.

Put Treacy or Voss in our forward line and we win that game. Get a KP player who can take a contested mark FFS……or at least one that can halve them.

Great effort to compete right to the end. Nice to see Larkey lift in the last but would love to see him run at the ball carrier more often. We needed to be a little more composed and cleaner with the footy at key moments. Luke Mc played well. Hated the WA biased commentary

Larkey usually only gets the ball out the back. He needs to start playing like a key forward. A few out the back in the last doesn't make it a good game. Step up big fella.

I had a moment late in the game where I though, geeze McDonald has had a really cracking, solid game. I kid you not, he then handballed the ball straight to the grass. I honestly thought there were Big Brother spies in my head.

Then we played Carlton and Sydney. Lost so appallingly that many went back to just wanting to see effort. Just a four quarter effort. Just something.

And here we are. Scratching over the latest disappointing carcass. Many are happy with the progress and in some ways so am I. But we shouldn’t forget where we should be by now.

And we can’t forget how absolutely disgraceful a loss last week would’ve been. We didn’t lose. But yeah.

Our selection integrity is still awful, among many other things.

Couldn't be more impressed by the effort of the players, smashed our record for inside 50 tackles for one. That it didn't translate to a smashing on the scoreboard leads to serious concerns as to the effectiveness of the gameplan.

But my worst fears have been realised, a tiny loss from a sold home game. If that was at Docklands we win that game and keep our season alive. With the reality of a loss now we're buried for 2025.

I'm so pissed off at the club for putting money ahead of winning. Gagf.

Look enough about Pink , but Logue has also has his share of doubters. What he has is a big arse as is hard to move. Thought he was good.

Yep. I'm a huge Logue doubter but I gotta say, he certainly did well tonight justified his selection.

I hope we don't see Kawson again.

Played terrible last week and won, played pretty well but a terrible 5/8 mins tonight and lost. That's footy

Yeah well as always disappointing we couldn't snag the win...

But.....

We did a LOT right tonight, our pressure and intent especially inside 50 was 1st rate.
We didn't drop our heads when it looked like the game was heading for a blow out.
We persisted against some rough umpiring.
We competed hard right until the final siren.

It was moments, only moments that make that into a win. Mostly moments we inflicted on ourselves. Change 2 moments change the result.

I sleep tonight frustrated we couldn't get that over the line. I'd prefer that to the complete hopelessness and despair I've had earlier in the year.

Shoots of true hope from tonight, well for next year anyway.
