We get ****ed by the umps repeatedly. There are stats to back this up but it also passes the eye test.

If we were a side that is average or good then it would take 1994/2015 PF levels of shenanigans to cost us the game but cos we are where we are and everything is a struggle, one or two shit decisions at crucial moments in close games can change the outcome and it happens for us far too often.

We're not talking about 50/50 decisions either. We're talking about blatently obvious ones like Chom being smashed in the face by a player with no eyes for the ball in front of the opposition goal and no mark/free being payed, 2 vs Bailey Scott in the Collingwood game last year (one a review with clear vision of his hand moving from contact with the ball) and three in the game on the weekend. The dropping the ball in front of goal that Larkey didn't get and two blatent high contacts on players moving the ball into space the ball inside our forward half. For example.

We had an insufficient intent free payed against us for a ball that was smothered the other week.

It should be a level playing field not one that resembles the side of Mt Everest, one where it seems the umpires can't be arsed or deliberately choose not to pay frees that are obviously there.

That's interesting cos Toby Pink and Griffin Logue had exactly the same OPs as spoils on the weekend.

(And knock ons don't get counted properly or Wardlaw would have multiple 1%ers every week.)
