Powell is second at the club behind Xerri for most tackles in 2025 & 26th overall in the league. Now now you two. Just go have a look at how many 1% he had and how many tackles when we laid the most tackles we have for the year… Powell is a bog average nothing player.

“Coward” says the keyboard warrior! He's a coward but in space he's actually a lot of fun to watch
Well.... he is a coward. Spade's a spade. I'd bet money that we're here in four weeks or less lamenting his approach to the contest. If he can find a way to stay regularly involved in games though, it won't matter“Coward” says the keyboard warrior!
Nobody who gets to AFL level is a coward. Try focusing on some of the positives in this young crop of talented youth coming through as they adjust to game plan, contest and their physical capabilities. RHJ was personally instrumental in setting up 3-4 goals after subbing on. His ability to hit a target compared to the majority of our team was next level. Yet all you can muster up is some embarrassing name calling.

Only when the player is in arms length.. he must be second to the ball.Powell is second at the club behind Xerri for most tackles in 2025 & 26th overall in the league.
I would suggest most of the people posting on this board are cowards by some definition or another.Well.... he is a coward. Spade's a spade. And you wonder why more and more people are sick of you.
Alrighty. Powell was great. Nothing to be concerned about there! What an elite footballer having an elite year!
The two are not exclusiveI would suggest most of the people posting on this board are cowards by some definition or another.
If you can't provide data then you're just making shit up and expecting people to believe you. Genus stuff.
I don't buy it. I'd bet if you dropped a footy between RHJ and anyone posting here, RHJ would win it roughly 10 times out of 10. I think it's decision making. Hopefully it clicks for him, like it seems to have with Dylan Stephens, who most had written off last year.Well.... he is a coward. Spade's a spade. At least 2/3 of the time.Turn it up, how often do you fact check before posting?
Yes Zonder, whatever you reckon.DOn't question Febel they are all great its why we have one 7% of our games in the last six year's
Nah, B- grader that offers nothing. He doesn’t chase. You provided random examples that could be correct. I do t remember, but he doesn’t do what you are suggesting. His disposal is awful, worse than Jy, Jy ****s up because he bites off more than he can chew, if he kept it simple like Powell does he’d be a good kick.. yet Tommy Toe Poker doesn’t offer anything and butchers the footy And is soft. This is what Phillips does in the VFL.
In recent weeks Powell has run down Harley Reid, the "fend off king" (lol) in open play and copped a sketchy free for it. I think he did the same to Jack Williams. (Yep fact checked for hilly.) Sullivan or O'Sullivan against the Pies, ran him down on their HFF. He stuck a tackle against Darcy Cameron in the same game and that wasn't at a stoppage either. O'Sullivan (again?) later after chasing and pressuring WHE inside their back 50.
Against Freo he made several tackles that could be considered weak however most of them resulted in turnovers to us because of the pressure he put on opposition disposals - either interupting them or turning them into poorly directed disposals that were turned over.
I wouldn't call him a superstar by any means but that's the reason he cops so much shit on here. He's not Caleb Serong just a hard working mid. He works hard and plays his role and he's still young enough that his game will continue to develop.
One thing he isn't is a turnstile defensively, despite what Chad has claimed repeatedly all year.
Btw Chad it took me ten minutes with the AFL app to check on this. So when you post stuff like this to defend not checking your biases:
... its laughable.
And yet you showed me a pic from his stat page that showed he had one turnover for the game, lol, bro your confirmation bias is as bad as Chads.Nah, B- grader that offers nothing. He doesn’t chase. We aren't professional footballers though. It's like if a plumber was bad at dealing with poo in his job. You certainly wouldn't be pleased with him if he came to your house and baulked at the blockage you'd summoned him there to deal with.I don't buy it. I never said it was all of them, bro. I said it was a type. The outside Indigenous bloke who wouldn't say boo to a goose, and wouldn't apparently get his own hard ballThose Picketts, Krakouers, Riolis and Longs...
So soft.
Does that type include Sleevo, Ryan Clarke or Josh Williams?I never said it was all of them, bro. I said it was a type. The outside Indigenous bloke who wouldn't say boo to a goose, and wouldn't apparently get his own hard ball
Reid would smash Tommy Toe PokerAnd yet you showed me a pic from his stat page that showed he had one turnover for the game, lol, bro your confirmation bias is as bad as Chads.
Those examples are correct. I have hilly on my case now as well so I had to check my facts.
The coathanger he gave Reid was brilliant and more often than not those get paid htb cos you can tackle like that fat cop Joe Rogan took the piss out of these days and get away with it if the player had the ball for 0.1 of a second (most of the time.)
It would if they were Indigenous. It doesn't mean that there aren't scaredy-cat white players. But there have been enough scaredy-cat Indigenous players now for that contact-averse runner to be a trend. Blokes who've been brought in for pace and explosiveness (commentators love to describe them as mercurial) and they sometimes end up delisted due to their deficiencies in that area. Motlop from Carlton is another. Carlton fans hate him, but he'll no doubt have us on toast this week.Does that type include Sleevo, Ryan Clarke or Josh Williams?
Ryan Clarke who played for us then the Swans was soft as imo.It would if they were Indigenous. It doesn't mean that there aren't scaredy-cat white players. Also, you're referring to tagger Ryan Clarke there. I'm not sure he qualifies
I reckon percentage-wise, the blackfellas have the whitefellas covered in the contact-averse stakes, but there's no real point in continuing a discussion like this. An AFL without Indigenous players is not one I'd want to watch. I'll cease my piece thereRyan Clarke who played for us then the Swans was soft as imo.
Contact averse runner is a trend across AFL generally. Doesn't matter if they're blackfella or whitefella.
