Agreed re Atkins and Murphy, both need a spell in the 2's.Woah
Good:
Brad - did very well given the ruck situation and no Sloane
JJ - no complaints about his return
Lynch - ran all night long
Gooch - only 13 disposal, but all class 6 inside 50s = with Brayshaw and Harms as most on the ground)
CEY, Eddie and Thor in the last really stood up
Laird - did his usual
Kelly I thought was good.
Gibbs as a tagger was actually good (props to Pyke)
tbh not many others were all that great
Bad:
Atkins must go 27 touches but cripes.
Murphy as well must be close to gone. He needs to do more 4 touches is not enough
Mackay as well sorry. Nope. Give me Chayce

Jericho? He almost cost us the game with that dropped mark when there was about 90 seconds left.
If he held that mark we never would have ended up in that situation where we had to rely on Melbourne missing two shots to win the game.
He's the softest player to put on a Crows jumper since David Gallagher
One thing I was impressed with was Gibbs tackling he was making them stick and technique was great. Didn't see the first half thankfully but overall that was not a match we should have won so I'll take it but we simply aren't a strong contender.Gibbs to Oliver was a masterstroke.
Changed the game.
Hat's off Pykey
Perhaps Atkins being the leading score involvement player on the ground for the Crows? From the AFL website...
BEST
Adelaide: Lynch, B. Crouch, Laird, Greenwood, Ellis-Yolmen, Atkins
How the hell is Atkins in there? What were they watching? That was some of the worst football I have seen from the little Who-ville squib.
Mackay was also unbelievably bad. Just awful.
Keath was constantly out of position.
Jenkins is so so lazy. The laziest player I have had the displeasure to watch.
I thought Smith worked hard to get us back moving.
If we can't get some of our talented youth into that 22, is clear our club has become a dead set basket case.

This! This is clearly a mental thing with us, not sure how to fix it.
He gets better each game doesn’t he.All those who said Gooch was a bust, really need to relax. He has class. The more games he gets the better he will be. Every forward would love him.
Stunned he only had 13 touches, unlike Mackay who had 16 and they were mostly all forgettable
Nuts selecting him last and this week after being out for 6 weeks with a knee and only played in the SANFL on restricted minutes. Sloane injured in the first 1.5 quarter didn't help him but still.....Seed looked like he was runn8ng in quicksand on a number of occasions.
Will take the win.Well...all that’s left now is to put the headphones on, put Hunters and Collectors full blast, pour a beer and yell...f.....yeahhhhhh!!!!!
Have you seen Stengle's pressure acts in the SANFL.....Agreed re Atkins and Murphy, both need a spell in the 2's.
Would love to see Stengle come in for Murph
Forget the stats, in no way did RoB win the ruck duelThe ruck situation? Check the stats. I thought Brad was patchy at best. CEY was huge and Greenwood came up big in the last quarter. Lynch out sole forward although Jenkins did a couple of things.
I torched RAT in the Rev Up and he didn't disappoint. If he's in next week he's stolen DMac's pictures. Tex was ordinary. Murphy not enough reward for effort.
There were some diabolical non calls that game too. The umps were not great.
Seem to recall he come back in and dominated in the NT a couple years back too. This is the Lynch that people can be forgiven for calling elite. Massive game- 20 plus touches, 13 or so marks, and was our most incisive ball mover.
We'll see. Wins like that can make a team walk tallerOne thing I was impressed with was Gibbs tackling he was making them stick and technique was great. Didn't see the first half thankfully but overall that was not a match we should have won so I'll take it but we simply aren't a strong contender.

He didnt win it. No one does against Gawn.Forget the stats, in no way did RoB win the ruck duel
Just shows why you never give up.
Midpoint of the second quarter I noticed RoB really improve his contests with Gawn. Early in the game Gawn was.jumpomg early into RoB at the bounce. RoB adjusted by getting.to the bounce a bit quicker and jumping earlier himself.
He also engaged Gawn a bit earlier around the ground.
Gawn still win a decent amount of hitouts after that, but RoB won a few key contests as well.
That to me was a bit of a game changer. Especially late as RoB got more confident and Gawns dominance faded a little bit more.
We dont need Grundy and I don't think the club is interested we have a genuine top shelf (I.wont say truly elite) Ruckman in RoB. We would be stupid to waste the picks and salcap to bring Grundy over. We NEED more blue chip mids.

Availability Fallacy.I don’t get the Atkins hate, was one of very few that worked to get the ball and was mostly ok with it.
