I blame Hojuman

When that second one went through the middle as clean as a whistle and the goal umpire confidently signalled the major, a certain person was heard to say, “take the one off us”.

Which they duely did the campaigners
I'm sure he's glad to know you've got his back though. :D

Old bloke with a walking stick. Had a little chat with him, Pete, aged 89 !
I did try to get him on Bigfooty a while back but he read a few of the comments and decided that everyone here are dills and he’d be better off keeping well away.

How good seeing Clarko give a few wraps, X / JD one was great but the FOS one brought a huge smile to my face - and everyone in the room knew the work he had put in.

HEY ! I was the only one that backed in Eleni to give us a good ride, and she delivered.
I wonder if anyone has stats - she can’t have paid too many frees our way in previous games but she did see a couple on Sunday.

As for that other knob wearing number 15, well I have to say, he is less capable than Eleni.

But it became very obvious in Q4 that certain instructions were being given through the ear pieces.

Sure Nicholls has changed from 35 so that supporters won't recognise him. As if,

Love your work GR as always. This play was right in front of where I was sitting and I loved it. JHF shoved him once then ldu went back at him 4-5 times. Reminded me of the good old days when Byron or Arch would clean someone up and they would look at the ump and say "what did I do" 😂

Love big Chom but not sure he was the best player on the ground
Chom was huge. I think we get caught up in the occasional disposal error. But he played good D and looked like a marking threat every time the ball went near him. We notice when our defence looks shit but perhaps don't notice so much why when our defence looks good

Think about what the media would say about that game if his name was Darcy Moore and his stripes were black and white

O ffs that was me hahahahahaha. My wife thought I was an idiot. I was forward pocket towards Port races. Egg on my face

By the way, how many clutch goals did we nail?
Our confidence in front of goal was very important to yesterday’s win.

Excuse the shoddy artwork but this is where yesterday's result deviates from the last few years. Zurhaar hits the post and everyone's thinking 'shit.' Helped somewhat by a rubbish kick in but still. Good foundations to build

love that we won and it should give the lads a springboard of confidence going forward.

But on the eye test, our forward connection and taking opportunities has to get better.

17 goals for 51 entries says otherwise, I’ll have to rewatch again but it felt at times that there was a ball i50 and all three big fellas went to that spot.

Those patterns i50 will get better with more time together, but the best defensive units, which port are definitely not one of, will absolutely swallow that up.

We’ve got some pretty good marking targets, I just hope they work on their patterns and connection going forward
Not being negative but I thought the game plan was just to kick it to the the big boys all bunched together, that’s what we have done for a few years now but won’t work against the good teams,I’d love it if a few more of the forwards lead up the ground and give a different option

Probably we also underrate what it does to opposition when they have to start trying to work around him as well.

Biggest issue I had with her on the day wasn't her decision making (surprisingly). It's how quietly she was making calls of not 15 etc.
Can't have church mice out there when the call needs to be heard by the ball carrier 30m away. Sold a few into trouble.

The new bloke was shit though.

My eyesight is not what it used to be, but LDU’s play was always noticeable. I would have given him best on.
Didn't waste the ball with turnovers or high, dinky, ineffective kicks either. I've seen LDU play a lot more games where he got a lot more touches but not nearly as efficient or influential as he was yesterday.

Forgot how much more enjoyable the week after a win is. I could get used to this feeling again.

I really want the footy to be an enjoyable experience week to week again, not only for all us rusted on's, but for the young families, the little Joey's who deserve to feel proud of their club.
