I'm not against promoting players but it's the same players being promoted when you already know what they bring to the table that get's me a bit confused. We're not playing finals for a while so promote some others to see what they offer. Cliche-ish, but we're never going to find out what certain players offer sitting around in the two's. Play them, see what's what.

This is about me not liking our KPD structure with two talls, when those talls are Comben and Kawson. Neither of whom are particularly good one-on-one defenders.

If we were only running with two KPD talls, I would prefer Corr/Comben (see, not Pink).

Thought you were trying to make a very good point. Since Pink has been out of the side our ability to defend i50 marks to the opposition has been significantly worse. Apart from on outlier game during Gather round where neither side took many marks.

LDU was crucial in turning the game around for us. He was very hard to beat around the contest especially in the second and third quarters.

It’s a real problem area. It’s almost like both teams start on an even keel and spar for about 20 minutes. Then, inevitably, our opposition coaches make little tweaks that always seem to catch us on the hop. Presto, they score five goals before we re-adjust. Game(s) over.

And yet again tonight. At least, we’re only 22 down.
