What if I whined about your whining regarding the whining about the whining being worse than the whining? Would that then become the worst type of whining?
So painful it hurts!

What I think is a big positive, is the tigers stopped us from playing the game we've tried to play so far this year (fast break, lots of quick movement and handball to create overlap), and we still found a way to get up.

Xerri 52 hitouts 11 clearances 10 tackles and 19 touches from 87% TOG. An ogre
Was watching another game this weekend and they were talking about the best ruckman in the AFL, and they didn't even mention Xerri. If he played for a big club he'd be a shoo in for All Australian.

Stuff the awards - hes a true shinboner and that's a greater honour.

Yeah they were umpired right into that game, especially the first half of the second quarter. Its a joke.
They were absolutely dominating us in the second quarter. We did really well to survive still in the lead. Whe you give away so many inside 50’s, you increase the likelihood of giving away frees.

A Pink, white and blue victory, thank feck!

Our last 30 secs might have gone to script, but the 2 or 3 mins before were quite bizarre.

Yes Richmond have just started their rebuild, but they are rebuilding a triple-premiership team. We're rebuilding from a decade of rubble, so good on us.

Players going to ground in the contest! Larkey at the end, when he failed to hold the juggled mark, just fell over; LMac in the 2nd ran in and flopped down beside the Richmond player on the ground, then waved an arm valiantly to try and stop the handball-goal. Senior players putting themselves out of the contest for what reason? Buggered? Habit? Stupidity? Not being coached to stay on their feet? Love to hear LMac's reason for going to ground in that play. And for giving up the chase on Ralphsmith after McKercher missed the tackle. Simple sh:t.

Tackling. Must do better. More Moose grip, fewer turnstiles.

Pleased for Darling, Pink and Maley. After McKercher's weak tackle that led to a Richmond goal he really stood up physically.

Hard, tough work from Xerri, Zurhaar, LDU (aside from a couple of unconvincing efforts), and Wardlaw in warlord mode.

When we will have a tall forward who gets treated like a Faberge Egg? Replays show Larkey and Darling being held, arm chopped, scragged, and Larkey towards the end just being run off the ball by a defender giving him no chance to compete, but Lynch, who was all over Pink like a rash when behind, only had to have an upper arm brushed after he'd dropped the mark to receive a free.

And, feck me, what was all the Richmond arm flapping for free kicks? And the 'deliberate' rule? And the selective 'holding the ball' rule? And the umpires missing basic 50m penalties. Once again an oppo player has run off with the ball after a very obvious free kick to us -- this time even kicking it -- but no penalty. Tough game to umpire, yadda yadda.....

Love FOS. He's a 'decision maker' one of the comms said. He's also got a beautifully-timed leap, and doesn't take shit.

I'll go against the grain here, an ugly win beats the shit out of, in no particular order, an honourable loss, a complete spanking, or a draw.

Plenty of complaint's though, starting with the camera work constantly zooming in and out for no particular reason

Apart from Xerri displaying his talent, a few small positives, no injuries i think, we won a 1st Q, improved form from Colby, Pink, Powell, and Darling, and we kind of defended well enough right at the death, despite a few hiccup's, take the win and move on.

Pulled off a Mark Keane!!

Congrats Shinboners :)
They didn't make it easy but managed to get there in the end. Mr Porps feels very relieved.
It was game-saving, no doubt. However, in fairness, we’d be selling Keane’s effort very short if we tried to compare the pair.

The opposite to the port and bombers games.
We started well, but the tigers were arguably better for the next 3 quarters. We hang on to win.
I’ll take it🥳

Haha, I thought this too. We seemed to have learned too much from the past month... FFS 😂

With you all the way here, M. Except for ignoring our actual game winner - Cam Zurhaar. Why is it that this former rookie gets more unfavourable scrutiny than our high picks even? He is the type of player who could win a flag for us - if we manage to get there, eventually.
