The only scientific measure of whether a win was good is whether it disrupts me getting to sleep like a loss does.

This win disrupted me getting to sleep. Therefore it was a good win.

As you were.
Reminds me of the old joke.

I'm a light sleeper ... I sleep with a light on.

KC's obviously a hard sleeper ...

I'll see myself out.

I thought it was...

What's the difference between light and hard?

You can go to sleep with a light on.

I'll see myself out also.

Late to the party but I’ve been caressing a few cracks since the win. And it was pleasing to see us dominate The Tigers in the Third Quarter and notch up a convincing win. Sure The Tigers are in the same position as us but yah can only beat the opposition placed in front of you and a number of our players dominated. Sheezel was Awesome! LDU Great. Xerri Huge. And Curtis stepped up big time after Zurhaar was injured. I like the looks of Trembath. 3 goals each in your first two games is a great start. Loved the way Wardlaw cracked in. But what I loved more was he hit targets. His kicking inside 50 has been good over the last couple of weeks. This is a promising sign. Well done to the Boys. Heal well Cam. 👊🏼💥

Hopefully the combination of Konstanty and Payne creates a more well rounded, threatening forward line. Along with Trembath, the balance looked nice on the weekend.

I don't mind Konstanty and I understand the concept of a pressure/defensive forward, but nothing makes a defender more accountable than a forward that can kick goals. Ideally we have 6 forwards and multiple mids that hit the scoreboard each week.
I have a sneaking suspicion that there is a fully fledged mid/wing lurking in wait inside Geordie. I must have momentarily confused him with George five times yesterday.

If he can prove that he can run all day, I would spend 2026 developing him into a punishing defensive winger.

I just got back from The Big Apple Aisle. Best weekend of my life. What a win. I'm a bit jet-lagged but I'm telling ya now, I'm BUZZING.

Payne & Trembath - sign 'em up - NOW!!!

I was sitting right where Zurhaar injured his leg. I do a fair bit of marital arts & so I have a great understanding of body movement & body mass. I could see Zurhaar was in trouble & I told the trainers - "He's done. Put a fork in him" hence they walked him straight off the ground rather than through the interchange stewards. One of my mates patted me on the back and said "Nice one Clokey". It seemed so real. I'll never forget it.

The umpiring was a head-scratcher as per usual. It's as if the umpires read the rules from a Dr Zeus book - I'll give them Green Legs Of Ham!!!

Time to watch the replay. I've got Foxtel & Kayo so I can watch it on either platform.

Just watched the third quarter as I’d missed it on Sunday. Don’t want to be a Debby downer, but while it was a great quarter, it should have been much closer going into the last. They had the first six I50s and should have kicked four goals before we even went inside our attacking half. When we were running the ball we looked silk, but there was still too many stationary players leaving D50 with long kicks down the line.

Good win for sure, but considering the three other quarters were pretty even, the third flattered us a little I recon. We left a few goals out there for sure, but don’t think this was a turning point sort of game at all.

Hope we have a real crack this week and finish with positive momentum into preseason.

Apparently, Brown valued Daicos's 29 possessions and 6 score involvements in a losing cause higher than LDU's 40 and 15.
When daicos goes down he does so with grace and elegance, and what umpire can ignore his doe-eyed plea for a free kick?
