Moose tried his guts out. I’d keep playing him. Already a cult hero.

Phillips lacks pace, but is neat.

Kerch will be a gun. Needs to tidy up his disposal.

Dawson is impressive, already better than Logue.

Stephens is consistently average. Going nowhere with him.

Umpires were their usual quality. The club should be asking some questions.

Not normally one to complain about the umps, but that was horrific.

Decent effort at the start. But we effectively played 4 down in the midfield tonight, plus no Parker.

Couple that with Daniel in the backline and boy it was rough to watch at times.

Less said about the latter three's games, the better.

One weird thing I've noticed us doing when we forced a turnover in our D50 is we spread the ground super early. I get we're trying to make it 'big' and hard to defend but it more often than not opens us up when Daniel or Powell turn it over.

I was bullish on Daniel when we drafted him. I like him and saw the idea. But....

He has been putrid. Tonight worst of all. And actually liability.

The same with Logue. You can't be a defender and asleep half the game.

And I hate to say it but WiPhi isn't it. I really like him, but hes Wardlaw from Wish. He lacks pace and endeavour. His 1st qtr I was seeing a little.l, but then he did nothing for the rest of the game. At least with Wardlaw doing nothing, it's exciting and frenetic. It's a shame really.

Definitely highlighted the need to continue playing the young guys and bringing in the right older guys. We look no worse having McDonald out and Simpkin was poor. Really missed Parker. Team balance felt better overall

Overall can't be happy with an 8 goal loss but could have been worse.

A bit to like - effort, Coops, Dawson. A bit to hate - injuries, umpires, tackling, turnovers.

Thursday night footy is for the bin at this time of year. People just don't show up.

Yes, to the cheats from the west. Waiting for a 1 hour train ride to leave after that WWE style umpiring. Injuries will affect selection but fmd Bailey Scott ordinary footballer. Wilphil looks like vfl his level but probably his worse case oppo midfield. Tom Powell soft as butter picks and chooses when to go. Midfield thinner than some think. WDawson big piece of future jigsaw. How can we turn it over so often?

I'm a big fan of WillFill but he is just not quick enough for AFL, Definatly trade as seasons end.

We need a better strategy to break the press coming out of the D50. Daniels should not be taking the Kick ins, he just makes far to many poor decisions.
