Not a great game at all, but another opportunity for our team to learn how to win in those tight situations.

When the game needed to be won, it was O’Sullivan, Sheezel, Xerri, Zurhaar, Simpkin, Parker, McKercher who stood up and refused to lose.

To do what we did in the last qtr was a gallant effort. I thought we had no right to win that game.

In some way our side takes a lot more from that type of win, than a cruisey 4 goal victory.

His fumbles when the game was on the line showed he’s a fraud.

An absolute steal, because we were genuinely awful for most of the game. But it evens up with the Hobart game last year, when the Weagles performed the big steal on us.

X, Pinky, PC, FOS and Colby were all very good. Parker, Harry and Bull stood up late when we needed them.

Genuinely horrible game of footy in absolutely perfect conditions.

I went over for a look, so glad I can enjoy a beer at one of the pubs in town tonight. Because I bloody need one after that

Did Wardlaw play fwd in the last qtr in a tagging role on Baker? If so, I didn’t mind it and his pressure in the front half stood out - his last qtr was ok after a horror day up to that point.

Kind of agree with you. Those two were actually pathetic. Both of them drop their heads during the play, it’s appalling leadership.

They're not really leaders, they're just what we're stuck with. Larkey is having the shit to end all shit seasons, but I think his ceiling is higher, Davies-Uniacke I think, is about as good as he's going to get. He has no urgency, disposal is questionable at the best of times and has virtually no second efforts other than to plod along. Puts no pressure on the opposition while players on much lesser money bust their arse. If he doesn't win the initial contest he just jogs along. If it's true about St Kilda, they dodged a dum dum.
