You have to be dumb to think Disney would rather cut ties with Downey Jr over 40 million dollars over letting him fill out a blank check to stay. That's a piss in the wind to them these days.

They're sure not getting value for money with Scarlett though. May as well get Jennifer Lawrence if you want to overpay for a shitty actress.

He irritated me in every movie he's been in prior to Captain America.... accepted him in the role (still haven't gone out of my way to see his movies).

Ben Affleck irritates me and he (along with the bad scripting) are the worst aspects of BvS and Justice League.

Only played a small part but he was funny in Scott Pilgram vs World as one of Ramona Flowers evil exes

Red Sparrow is the best black widow film we will ever get , making a marvel/Disney version would be a very very tame and poor film in comparison

Captain Marvel will be the compnay’s Breakout girl power film.

Thing is, it would look absolutely great if it was the exact same thing but it was a painting in the classic Indiana Jones or Star Wars poster style. But why would a studio commission an artist when they could pay a 16 year old to whip something up in twenty minutes in photoshop.

They haven't even included Hawkeye.

These movies don't pay as well as you might think. Yeah Hemsworth, Evans, Pratt ended up millionaires but they weren't super famous when they signed up to these long, 6-movie contracts and had to give away their likeness rights forever. Marvel/Disney know the franchises/brands are worth more than the actors and they don't want 20 Robert Downey Jrs. Hemsworth made more from those Huntsman movies and I don't think anybody even remembers those.

If they want to hold true to the comics Thanos should take out pretty much every Avenger currently in the MCU.

I'm also on Team Thanos. Lot of dead weight in the MCU.

Thanos as a villain can't be on par with Ultron and Loki in Avengers 1, he needs at least a handful of kills to do the character justice.

Hopefully he picks off one early to establish the tone of the movie, as you can't be cracking jokes every other minute when the universe is facing its worst threat.

This is true. He will obviously have to be depowered from the comic depiction, but I’m hoping it’s not too severe.

They have already hinted that he’ll be the smartest man in the room...much like the comics

Time will tell if they depower him, I liked how the comic Thanos self destructs himself when he’s about to win..I hope they keep that aspect of him in the MCU as it was an interesting aspect to explain how a overpowered villain beats himself as no one else can/could.
