If I was to think for myself I start with having no fricken idea about whether something is good or not as I have no info. its a coin toss. So reviews can give me an idea and improve the accuracy of my estimate from 50 percent to something better than 50 percent. Its called Bayesian Inference. It helps us make informed decisions which makes our time limited lives more enjoyable.

There are 18 MCU movies out there before this one, if you haven't worked out by now whether they are your thing or not you should probably just give up

I'm generally a pretty harsh marker when it comes to movies, especially these types of movies.
Didnt like Black Panther.
Thought Civil War was a bit of a mess.

... But this was pretty friggin' excellent.

I have not seen all of them yet either (yet to see Ant Man, GOTG 1/2, Doctor Strange). I've enjoyed a few that people thought were questionable (TFA, Incredible Hulk). While I've found others that are highly rated (Iron Man, Avengers, Winter Solider etc) to be not as amazing as people say.
