Corrupt bodies are attracted to each other. Also a lack of annoying safety standards.

lol I see what you did there.

Still waiting for an explanation as to why the skeletor figure is the ideal body for european fahsion runways in terms of the clothes, rather than a female with a slim/athletic body type?

IIRC it had something to do with how the clothes looked on said women. I think if you have a girl that is curvy it could detract from the clothes themselves.

but then how do you explain the typical males?

Girls are all inherently lesbian, guys aren't all inherently gay.

Underwear models, different to fashion models.

Also this. The bony types aren't usually underwear models.

no homo but beckford is aesthetically pleasing.

Say I found somebody who would do my job for me but I would only pay them half as much as I got paid to do the job (they're not the brightest). Would I be able to do this as they would be an employee of mine?

Would be a little moment of win as I would be getting paid to do nothing.

It would depend on where you work, but generally someone has to be inducted into a workplace to be allowed to work there, for OHS&W reasons.

Alright so I'm new to the world of income tax (only just started my first income taxed job) and have a question on the tax-free threshold.

Say I'm paid $500 for a week of work (work which I'm claiming the tax-free threshold for) and are taxed based on an annual income of $26000 (around $50 or whatever). Say I don't work again for the rest of the year so my annual income is actually $500, well below the $6000 threshold, wouldn't I have been wrongly taxed?

Aware me biatches.

When you do a tax return at the end of the financial year, you will get the full amount ($50 in your example) back when you do your tax claim.

I dont get this either, although to be honest athletic isnt always great, often ends up looking a bit butch (bar a few tennis players) - flat chest and near 6 pack

Most seem to just prefer that 'normal' slim look, rather than anorexic slim.

Re fashion shows, does anyone ever actually wear those clothes?

Why is it that the dangerously thin body is the ideal figure for european fashion runways?

For the idiots, just because someone isn't dangerously thin doesn't mean they are obese, so I don't want to read something along the lines of, "because clothes don't look good on fat people". I've read it before that the boney figure is much preferred over your athletic build for example (eg kournikova or stokke). Why though?
It's because the point of a runway model is not to look as attractive as possible, but to display the clothes so that they look as attractive as possible.

Men prefer a figure with more curves, more individuality, more athleticism, more cleavage - i.e. a glamour model - but these are not good things for a designer. A designer wants a body shape that is standardised, and which does not draw attention away from the fabric and designs.

Basically, the best runway model is a tall coathanger with a pretty face.

I also wonder this. They're always wearing crazy shit like this:

The idea is to inspire mainstream fashion and not to get people to wear the clothes as they are modeled.

My question is; why do the wheels of cars appear to move backwards when the car is traveling forwards (you can see it on car ads)?

It happens when the frame rate captures the wheels completing slightly less (rather than slightly more) than a full revolution. Therefore it appears that the wheels are rotating backwards.

Fax Machines
as the great Pauline Hanson once said "please explain"

Same as photocopiers, in that they scan the text from a page, but instead of then printing this on another piece of paper, they send the data down a phone line to another machine to print

Is it possible to read a 450 page book in a day?

Yes. 2 minutes per page is achievable, meaning 900 minutes or 15 hours for a book of that size.
