Anyone booked in trips interstate to watch the boys this year? I didn't actually realise we played 5 of our last 7 games at home which is handy. I'm off to the Roos game over easter, Hawks game over ANZAC day and have just booked flights to that shithole in Geelong, mainly so I can boo Paddy.

We were supposed to have a footy trip - me and indoor cricket team - to see Crows v Bulldogs, but it's also the Mother's Day weekend, so they've all started making excuses because they have kids etc., so not sure now.

Might have a quick look over the games being played and suggest an alternative.

FIFO for the Dogs game.
Spending a fortnight in Perth, with the WCE game sandwiched in the middle.

Can't see me going to any others, but maybe the Blues in R16.

Lot's of matches in Melbourne so I would like to say all of them but that may require some negotiation:rolleyes:. Definitely Freo in Perth (plus Margaret River and Southern Wineries). Gold Coast seems tempting as well.

I will however wait until I see how we go in our first month before making lots of bookings ;).

Now that i'm back in SA, we'll make a trip or 2 over during the season to Melbourne. Just not sure which ones yet

Well it's all away games for me.
I'm thinking about Crows v Swans at AO doubled with Black Sabbath at the Adelaide entertainment centre, same weekend.

Carlton game for me - time to utilise those Velocity and QFF points, plus reciprocal entry into the AFL Reserve. All I need is a cheap hotel and it shall be a relatively inexpensive weekend.

First time with Victorian membership this year and none of the games should clash with my own footy games so I expect to get to all of them in Melbourne, and maybe Geelong...

Hopefully if I'm back in Adelaide for some reason it'll line up with a game at Adelaide Oval but no plans as yet

Great show.

Right now I am watching Frasier. Never liked the show when I was younger, but caught the Pilot on Foxtel a month ago and love it. Series linked it and trying to catch up watching them.

Always loved Cheers though. Was one of parent's favourite shows and we always watched it.

Funny though, I feel the "Frasier" character would never be a Barfly as he was on Cheers.

Moved to Boston in 1999.

I meant the coach. :( It's a baseball thing.
Great time to be in Boston and be a Red Sox fan! 2004 in particular! I watched all 7 games vs the yankees in the ALCS... still one of the greatest sporting spectacles I've ever witnessed.

That and Australia's 2006 World Cup.

The Bull and Finch (real Cheers bar) was just around the corner from my old worth. We used to go watch games there after work. I loved baseball, ergo my nickname turned into Sam Malone.

Well, after losing the first 3 games to NY Yankees in the ALS, the World Series was a dream - especially after getting smashed in game 3. Everything after that was a dream as winning the last 4 games vs the Yankees and then winning game by 8-1 the ring was never in doubt.

2007 and 2013 was much better and less stress.
