i kind of like the clash jumper in its self, but i want more tradition. how about our first ever jumper as our clash?

Is this the most important thing concerning Carlton ATM?

I think it's a nice diversion from the real issues, but it isn't going to sell memberships.

How about we win some away games and then I'll give a stuff about the colour of the jumper? :thumbsu:

A few of the players appear to not care about the colour of jumper and are more interested in getting kicks on a wing.

I'd rather see them walk off muddy and bloodied than blue because they went in hard and showed how much they wanted to win.

Looks too much like West Coast
Could fall back on the MM's blue

Sorry... we are the blues.

As Swann said, we are not the whites or anything like that...

There is no club who's jumpers actually clashes with ours.

As I said in the other post about this, the only reason why there is a clash strip this days is so that the average football punter will have to fork out twice for the jumpers so that they can support their team home and away.

In football (soccer) where there are a lot of teams running around with red or blue jumpers, then away strips are required. Imagine Manchester United and Liverpool playing and both of them are wearing their red strips. Admitted they are slightly different shades of red, but in the heat of the moment, there is no difference in colour.

Show me in a competition where there are only ever 16 teams, which one of the other teams truely clashes with navy blue...

Melbourne... FFS... those w***ers have red in there shirt and are clearly different to ours.

Port... Sorry, Black and blue doesnt equate to Navy Blue either.

And how hard is it to determine who is the home side and who is the away team... damn, we're playing Melbourne at the G... we must be playing them at their home... at the Dome, we are at home.

We are the Navy blues and thats the only colour we should be wearing these days.

I don't mind the white jumper but i don't see the need for non clash games...

maybe we should wear a bright pink top in a clash game.
that way:
- we support cancer
- get more gay supporters
- stand out
- and keep houlihan happy :D

Who has the clash problem? The commentators, the spectators or the players? Can't be the commentators surely. The spectators? When did the AFL ever worry about what we thought? So it must be the players. Would it be too logical to ask them what clashed and what didn't? Maybe every other team clashes with ours thus explaining our endless number of errant disposals? It's certainly a mystery wrapped in an enigma stuffed inside a conundrum.

Going on the question, I choose Navy Blue for every game. However if we have to have a clash jumper the white one is okay and I wouldn't put up a fight over it. Nothing better than seeing the Navy Blue every game though. I also want blue shorts every game but that ain't going to happen either.
