He rattled the stumps, got an edge or two, but I was happy with some that found the willow

Just talking about him the other day. My cousin played against him in the district comp and rekoned he was the best he faced.

No, don't agree with that, he was easily the fastest, but by no means the best

Hiking around the Swiss Alps - just get there. And also sailing around the Croation Islands!

Yeah I did some hiking in the Swiss Alps near the Jungfrau when I was staying in Interlaken, the scenery was mindblowing.

Shark walker tour at Melbourne Aquaruim.

Looking at going skydiving in the near future.

How was the tour? Have been looking at doing something like that.

Switzerland was the bomb for those adventure sports - skydiving, bungee jumping and canyoning. Scenery is beautiful.

Spent a few days traveling on this fine luxury vessel, looking back now it was an awesome experience, not sure I could do it again though.

Gallipoli is pretty bloody special. It was just unfortunate our bus was stuck in a ditch for a couple of hours.

Done the Eiffel tower, Louvre (the Mona Lisa is incredibly overrated as a painting), easter mass at Notre Dame, Napoleon's tomb.

Been to WHL which is awesome.

Also been to the d-day landing sites on the French coast and the trenches from WWI in northern France and Belgium.

Went to the Anzac day ceremony at Villers-Bretonneux in 2014

Those all sound good. I think I remember seeing a documentary on Mona Lisa being pretty much the most technically perfect painting around. I have heard it is small though.

Some unique things I've done since being in the UK.

Saw the Olympic Opening ceremony rehearsal
Saw Kate get into the car on her way to the Royal Wedding and saw the kiss from the Mall.
Went to Westminster the next day to see the setup.
Went to the Diamond Jubilee Concert
Saw Will and Kate bring George out of the hospital ( my wife loves the Royal stuff)
Went to the Black Friday service at Westminster attended by Charles and Rudd.
Watched the Cambridge Oxford boat race from the Cambridge sheds.
Saw the riots.
Saw the Michael Jackson memorial at the O2.
Saw the Bowie memorial yesterday
Was in Prague when the first Czech president died and saw his body in state.
Was in Paris 3 days after the shootings this year and went to the makeshift memorial.

It's really small, I found it a touch underwhelming too, you can't get too close to it, and it's behind glass. I prefer the d'Orsay in Paris to The Louvre as well.

Totally agree.

Every person I know that's seen it, has said exactly this.
There's a painting on the wall to it's left which covers most of the wall. I find that far more impressive. It is quite amazing though in the sense that out here you might be lucky to see a Picasso or Da vinci once or twice in your life whereas there are a number of them in the Louvre.

Just to add, have been to the blue mosque and hagia Sofia in istanbul as well
