Azhar gets life

Finally the BCCI have handed Azhar and Sharma their life bans. The fact that Sharma has retired and Azhar is 37 makes the decision pretty much irrelevant anyway.

I'm probably being cynical but it just sounds like a diversion to take the heat off some of the current players. Make a couple of retired players the scapegoats and maybe everyone will leave us alone.

Life Bans for a couple of old players who are well past it is just a slap on the wrist and a bit of window dressing really.

I reckon we should do what what Kapil Dev originally suggested we do about this :

BSA, That's a bit harsh but a least they wouldn't do it again. Maybe left hand and genitals for a first offence?? Mark Waugh's eyes might start to water, or is he straight to second offence?

I am beginning to think there is much more to Mark Waugh than has been reveald thus far. It seems that the bookie was right when he said he had 3-4 players in every team. I do not think the Aussies were exempt.
