I understand that most clubs are holding their B&F dinners this week. Would anyone mind posting who won what for your team?

Thanks

Collingwood's B&F night is on Friday, so we'll find out who will win the Copeland Trophy them!

After a year like this, I don't think you can take a great deal from our best and fairest.

Anyway, the winner of the Trevor Barker Award was Andrew Thompson, ahead of Robert Harvey with Nathan Burke in third.

Despite these placings, I think there is a hell of a lot of improvement in Thommo who performed much better last year. Harvey had an injury interrupted year but still managed to finish runner up. And Burkey, I don't think you can say a bad word about the legend. Let's hope the new coach does not play him in the back pocket and see him embarrassed by the likes of Farmer, Phil Matera and other goal sneaks when he should be in the midfield winning the hard ball.

You can watch the Collingwood, Hawthorn and Bulldogs B&F awards live through the sportsview site. This is a first and would be the forerunner to live footy action on the web.

From an Essendon supporter who wasn't quite as drunk as others:
Fletcher: 321
Hird: 276
Caracella: 266
Misiti: 265

A good night, especialy when BC accepted his award, blind drunk hehehe!!

sandie,
maybe because he was stoned off his head for the team photo.

having a closer look- Cess looks pretty "red-eyed" too.

Maybe Smokin Joe supplied the gear.

A.
(if you have the "millenium team" poster- have a very close look at it.)

why didnt barnes get best 1st year player????
maybe because he wasnt a first year player
sandie dont you remember barnes played for essendon before going to geelong
aaron henneman was actually the only first year player we had this year
10 previous winners of that award were played in the premiership side, so aaron henneman will make it 11 next year

Walshy
I never expected another Bomber fan taking me seriously, I was trying to be funny, I used to drink with Barnesy at Windy Hill in the 80's.
Jeeeeeez.
