Mainly aimed at Carlton supporters.
What should I expect from this guy in 2006?
He has incredible strong hands but how is his fitness and how do you think he will go this year?

Looking forward to the continual improvement of Brad Fisher. As you said, he has very strong hands and plays tall in the forward line. As for his fitness, I would have a guess and say that it should be ok. He has had an uninterupted preseason, so he should be ok.

Is just inside the top 10 at Carlton for his endurance now. Has good pace but is suffering from knee soreness on both knees. Now after his knee injuries that is a worry. Would easily be our best performed player in the pre season and if his knees hold up I would expect him to have a very good year. Very hard matchup with his long arms and leap and great hands to go with good mobility and midfield type endurance. Just a question of how he is managed throughout the year.
Improved his kicking but still needs work and his handling below his knees is getting better.

If he play 22 games : 30 goals , 120 marks and 14 possessions a game.

I'm expecting a consistently good performer and a hard worker who will play up the ground a bit more.

He will be one of our best players.

If he can kick 2 goals a game, I'll be happy and he will be too.

really impressed with how Fishers developing, his kicking is the only thing than can be suspect, especially from range. My only question is how are we going to slot Fev, Waite, Fisher, Setanta and Kennedy in the same forward line?

Process of elimination. Fevola, Waite & Fisher are certainties, probably leaving 1 spot for either Kennedy or Setanta.

From all reports, Kennedy is more a CHF than a CHB, so he'd get my vote ahead of Setanta at this stage.

Fisher was a steal at number 72 in the 2002 draft. A good size with strong hands, is also fast on the lead.

Made his return from his ACL injury against Fremantle last season and was very impressive. He gathered 22 disposals, reeled in 10 marks and slotted through 3 majors.

In tandem with Jarrad Waite, Fisher should help slowly drag the Blues off the bottom of the ladder.

Pretty well summed up.

Would be great if Fisher could kick 30+ goals this year. Would take the pressure of Fevola somewhat.

There will be no help, slow, drag or bottom this year. Fisher will be part of the amazing, turnaround, jumping to the top of the ladder...........................at Freos expense, round 17's loss to the Blues will put an end to your finals hopes and cement the blues into 6th position......................

oooohhhh.......hes called it REALLY early.

No one said you can't dream!

But in all seriousness if Fisher stays fit 30+ is a gimme. He's a hard player to contain.

Waite, too, will again reward Carlton. I'd expect 30+ from him also.

These two players just need quick, direct delivery from your midfield and they'll really give Carlton fans something to smile about. But the access from the midfield may destroy any hope!

Good to see their is competition for places in the side. A couple of years ago that would have been unheard of.

Fisher will star this year.
He has very strong hands, has a huge motor which he he worked hard on in the off season, and is young. He will work up the ground a lot this year, and due to this wont kick bags of 5 or 6 goals, but will chip in every game. If he remains uninjured, he will play every game and finish extreamly high in our B&F. He is hard to match up on as he is quick and has remarkable strech.

He'll will be the Carltons Reiworldt, just better :D
