You would know better than me snag, but I have heard a whisper Loates will own the goal square at the Uni this Saturday afternoon. By the way, are you stalking me on this thing, whenever I post you jump on within half an hour....

Briza,
hopefully this is enough of a time gap between posts for you!

It will be interesting to see if the giant returns this week...could pose a few problmes for uni.

When will we see Luke Wiliams briza?

How would you guys rate the performances of the two clubs coming up from C Section-namely Hampton Rovers and Ormond so far this year, not counting the recent results?

And how many wins do you think a B Section team would need to 1) Make finals; 2) Avoid relegation?

Welcome back Jase! Firstly, Ormond have been fantastic, they are the form side of the competition and have some great players and a real home ground advantage. Hampton have been in every game they have played and are stiff to be 0-3, Im sure there is a win around the corner for them.
Usually to play finals you need 11 wins to be sure, and to avoid relegation 6 wins in a weak season, so this year maybe 7 wins and a good % will see you safe.

Excellent post Briza...is it just me or do we seem to post within a short time of each other a lot?

Make Finals: 10
Avoid Relegtion: 4

Although if your boys do not start getting a few on the board the fight may be for HR and only 1 other - good chance for HR this week however I like OC - all the best anyway young fella

Ormond
OM's
Uni Blacks
St Bernards
Hampton

Lock of the week is Uni at UNi

Om's..surely to bounce back. One feels they may have had their loss for the year.

Uni...but beware of the giant who has had a field day at the
uni before

OT..will be filthy after last week and bounce back

Ormond to continue on their merry way

Carey to win again

Im not sure whether they are the form side of the competition, there are 2 undefeated sides running around. Maybe surprise packet is the right wording?

My selections.

agree CG

i also think that B Section is extremely even this year... i wouldn't be suprised if there is only 2/3 games between 3rd and 7th come the end of the year.

Game of the week for mine is SKOB v Ormond at Gunn.
Ormond have made the trasnition easily from C Section, SKOB have had their best start in a number of years... will be close all day but predicting Ormond to win by a goal...

Looking forward to the big clash for the Mike McArthur Allan Cup out at the Gunn.

CC - if a team wins 4 games and avoids relegation it will be a miracle. 6-7 is always the point to breath easy for another year.

TT - correct me if I'm wrong (which is not unusual) but what did Caulfield and Beauy get to last year?....I think 4 wins, to my memory.
When it is very even down the bottom then wins a gold across 3-5 clubs

With that said unless HR and OC get on their skates (at least one will have a win at 4pm Saturday) and above 2 keep winning then you could see a max 4 win relegation.

Next 2-3 weeks will tell - just hope we don't have 2 on the chopping block as it seems a very even and solid competition at the moment.

Also well done to Ormond - I potted them pre-season and they have come out of the blocks well - could the RAH RAH man chase the 3 peaks his predecessor achieved?..time will tell
