Can someone inform me due to not being in B grade last year, is it just the inclusions of the 3 ex AFL players that have Old Melbournians going so well or have the picked up other quality players. From memory they finished 3rd last only just missing relegation last year, i maybe wrong. Quite clearly they seem to be the form side of the comp.

What's on this week's LOCAL FOOTY SHOW on C31

John Barnes shares his views on coaching, on Brodie Holland and on local football in general.

Gurnsey" of blue and gold worn in their very first season in 1959

OMs over Rovers in a thriller.
Carey to open up the account against OH.
OTs over the Monds on the back of Rambo kicking 8.
SKOB over Wells despite the groundswell of opinion on the Wellers.

That has obviously helped, except a few injuries has held a couple back - however it is the massive restructure of their coaching area and off field support. Match day committee reads like a who's who of the footy world.

Hesse is a reserves player from De La, not a loss. All clubs have outs, just on the sidelines at SKOB vs OC today were Hilton, Hazell, J Mahoney and L Williams, around 300 AFL games of experience.
If OH didnt have Harvey and Brown last week they would have lost, but they had them, so move on.

Looked pretty good when i saw him in preseason. I agree all sides have players out, my point was more directed towards the comments already coming on haileybury's missing players(vafa site) when Carey has 12 of best 22 missing.

Isn't Hazel gone for the season

Moore ,you are spot on, Ormond were destroyed by some inept decisions. Still should have won it after being six goals up.

Sounds like sour grapes to me. Ormond were outplayed by a fitter and more skillful team for all but 1 quarter. Umpires had absolutely no bearing on the outcome.

rovers vs melb
OM's came out of the block with rovers caught spectating a bit of the first qtr, clawed back to be dead even at half time.. even third quater awell OM's up by 8 points or so at the last change
cream rose to the top tho, OM's dominated last qtr

they are the best team ive seen so far this year.. they have very good depth from what i saw in the reserves aswell.
