Of course they have, in fact in 99 had one of their best wins in A Section kicking 6 in 5 mins in time on in the last q to win by 3 points.
Pretty moronic comment re Dowd and Simmo from Murphy, how would St B go without Jordan and Libba?
OH are looking at the trap door but if I had to pick relegation now I would say Camberwell are dead certs to go down.
They have a few issues and the President needs to kick some heads NOW.[/quote]

Absolutely agree with you Bwian, first and foremost the President has to establish who Snag is, or is it Zoo? Discover if he has communicated with Nick ......... and if he has, immediately show him the door, because disloyal behavior should not be tolerated!
The club position on why it is important to stay in B section should be explained to the U/19s
The U/19s should occasionally train with the senior group, pub crawls and parma nights are great but there is no substitute for working with people to cement relationships
The senior group should be encouraged to mix with the U/19s, one very common complaint is that the senior side don't want to know the juniors
The club should look at the elegibility requirements for finals football and explain it to the U/19's, after all if they only need 6 games or whatever to play finals football I'm sure that they wouldn't have any hesitation in playing a few games at the senior level

I must be the disloyal one.Tosser,Mixfish.

You reckon the pres needs to kick some heads,I'd like to get stuck into a few myself on this forum.

As for the team , we will do our best ,as always, there are still 3 months left and to predict a certain demise for any team in this comp at this time is truly premature.

Mixfish, or should I say Ed K, Zoo is an absolute loyal servant of your community, and you of all people should know that, one of the lower things Ive seen on this forum.

Great to have you back Unca. Thought you might have snatched-it after the G.F loss:D We need you here. What with Cardio not taking his medication, Scribe only making cameos and Jascave just coming out of hibernation, things have been pretty ordinary comment-wise around here recently.

Haven't snatched it, AM. Haven't been around much to give an insight. Have only seen the one game this year and OM's were quite impressive - as were our boys for quarters 2 & 3. We were down to 20 men by halftime and some of the poor skill errors in the last quarter were those of a tired footballer, but take nothing away from OM's last 12-15mins. They were full of run and quite possibly would've kicked the last 7-8 goals anyway.
Looking fwd to seeing the highly publicised OH this weekend. Seems everyone's got an opinion on them.

St.Bern v SKOB
1v2 - JOC O'Connor Cup up for grabs - massive game with the loser possibly slipping to 3rd. Bernies have to be very warm favs at home, SKOB havent won at the Snakepit for 8 years or even beaten Bernies since the 01 A grade prelim. Josh Madden is off backpacking for the year and maybe a few have followed which will help SKOB. Should be a ripping game.

Monders v OWell
OMs v OCarey

St.Bern v SKOB

All home teams for me, with bernards winning back the Joc. should be a cracking game. Always good fun playing against the skobbers.

Boys,

Any thoughts on how the weather will affect the two teams? Reckon the expected slippery conditions wont much suit a pretty light, run and carry SKOB but I still have plenty of faith.

OH are gone. Crap. Voss snipes. What a tosser
Wells are gone. What a disgraceful club. Bunch of has beens. Loats has zero respect.
OM's are pretenders. Carey to whip there butts
Blacks are playing a seconds team plus Lacey. Poor Ray Wilson. Hes losing more hair every week.
SKOBS are pretenders. Make them play on a decent ground and they would be mid table. Snowdogs will towell them.

Time for SKOB to stick it to Chris 'Griffin' Mitchell. Still no-one rates them, I hope they stick it up St Bernards, can't stand them.

Oh - one more chance

Keep playing the underdog card brian. Even though ur second fav by a mile with the bookies and most people involved in b grade ammo's. Lose lose for u this week anyway. Win and no more underdogs, lose and no more top spot. What to barrack for.....

Hey Fossie,
heres the thing. Have a look at the tips on this board and then tell me again that Im playing the underdog card. Quite clearly no-one rates SKOB, I hope they can make a statement tomorrow. Two very young teams with some great VAFA players and St Bernards actually not a bad bunch of blokes, despite what I said earlier.

Entertaining game at the Junction today for the most part, Carey made a woeful start and despite getting the ball to their forward line early, never really looked in it until the third quarter. Lots of low-percentage options, kicking to stationary one-on-one contests etc saw a lot of turnovers that OM capitalised on, but were in turn held out by Carey's defence. A few things for both sides to look at and improve.

Charlie Gardiner (13) impressed all day for OMs, always in the thick of things and winning a lot of ball and spoiling Carey plays. Solid effort for the full game yet didn't make the best list.

Good win by the 'Monds at the Gunn yesterday. OC jumped out to a 4 goal lead at 1/4 time but struggled from there on, Ormond kicking 17 of the next 20 goals. It could have been worse for OC save for some inaccuracy for our forwards.

They are in a bit of strife OC. Doesn't help when Tallis is criticising his own players & have them give him a spray back on field. Too many players wanting to fight then play the ball, players show boating to the crowd in the far pocket - what moron would show opposition supporters the ball & then turn it over (again). Get a kick & make sure your team is infront before you start doing things like that.

Great game by 18 year old Dan Willis kicking 7. Good young players at Ormond, will continue to give this year a shake.

GR- martinov, not in best or in goals...did he play>?

Brian I think everyone took bernards as it was at the pit. Very tough place to win. Much like righetti. Very good game yesterday. Close all day with some quality football played. Thought the game was won in the third qtr where skob only kicked 3 to 2 with the strong breeze. Depth was a key for both sides and probably the difference in the end with both sides having quality at the top but bernards a little better with their bottom 6 or 8

I think Old Haileybury might rue the loss to the Rovers at Boss James Reserve yesterday as a very costly one, especially when we go into Round 18, and the fight for relegation.
