brian brian some pretty poor arguments there. so having some decent clubrooms make u better on the field.....thats pretty much all the club gets from the school

and i think the '01 prelim final was a fair way in the past. wouldn't be too many blokes still running around for either side from back then

skob are definietely a top 3 side but have struggled against bernards lately. pretty simple

yeah i woulda thought the argument was pretty simple too... ill stop mentioning our record against skob when you beat us.... again, pretty simple.

and im sure opposition clubs would much rather play at rhegetti than bernards because getting changed in a filthy broom closet and rolling your ankle on a grand canyon style pothole is so appealing....

No disrespect to Caven and Libba, but I would say that two ex AFL players are huge losses compared to two good B Section VAFA players.
IMO, it's a three horse race with all three sides evenly matched, as SKOBs game without Dowd, Mahoney, Giansiracusa, Duggan and couple more showed vs OM's.
Blacks could be the sleeper, along with the AFL powered Haileybury, who could win it if they get in with Wakelin, Harvey, Loewe, Voss and Brown.

I’m with you Briza. O.Ms are deserved favourites in my book with not much separating the Bernies and SKOBs . You’re spot-on about the Bloods. If they are able to get the former AFL players on the field they could mount a challenge. Stewie has finished his school coaching commitments so I’m told and will play the remainder of the year and Harves possibly two more in the home and away. Of course Voss and Brown will be there. Wakelin????

Big few weeks for the Monders as a return to ‘C’ grade looms. Hopefully some of the 9 senior players currently injured will be back and see the club stave off relegation. Good to see Matty Robbins spending more time in the midfield.

Stop living in the past Murphy, it counts for nothing. SKOB has won the important ones, like the 2001 Prelim.
SKOBs home ground is deluxe, at least we don't rely on the school like you guys do and leach off them for their facilities!!!

Over The Post, if your tips are not posted on here then stiff shit! Give yourself the lowest of the rounds and move on, I would have had a world record 5 in a row for 4 rounds if my wife had posted my tips for me as I requested via email from LA!

LA? Over there for the Michael Jackson funeral BS?

I remember watching the telecast and saw his brothers pushing the coffin and i thought Cool Runnings was on!

25 out all up, you only have to look at the ressies score on the weekend.

That’s a huge number, Bedford. It’s a wonder the club can field teams in the Ressies and Club 18. 25 missing from the list - s@#t! The official I was speaking with yesterday was referring to regular ‘ones’ players. The U19s seem to be travelling o.k despite the long injury list.

I see Julian Rowe got 4 matches for his spray on Saturday. Apparently the first red card for abusive language since the system has been in, a massive loss for the Carey lads and their fight to avoid the drop.

Big penalty, big loss BS. Though not quite the first time the red card has been used for abusive language.

Fitzroy's Chris Meighen copped the card and 2 weeks at the Tribunal after a bit of a misunderstanding with the South Melbourne ruckman back in round 9. It followed the accidental collision between the ruckman's stud-laden size 13 Puma boot and Meigho's inner thigh region at a ruck contest. A few 'C' bombs followed, but it was in front of a couple of lunching VAFA officials and the reporting umpire was Leah Gallagher. Probably not the most appropriate whistleblower to be in control at the time the female genitalia was broadcast to all and sundry.

If bloods lose to SKOB this week its all over for them. Huge ask to roll the St Kevs at Righetti these days. Im sure OMs & the Snowdogs would prefer it if they didnt need to find a way to stop Harvs at EP.

Must have been a fair old spray BS - any word on what was said, obviously wasnt something like "that's not in the back you white maggot". I would be interested in how they came up with the 4 week penalty - a week for every 3fbombs?
Certainly doesnt help Carey's ****ing chances of staying in ****ing B section.

From what I hear, JR was the precious one, and if he had shown some contrition when it mattered, he may have walked with 2, but the "all white jury agreed", and 4 was given.

Saw the last battle between the Bloods and SKOBS when the Bloods triumphed. It was an ordinary day with a strong crosswind. Harvs was the key with 45 possessions. SKOBS looked average that day but I think they had a few outs.

It should be a ripper this time around with SKOBS up and about and the Bloods with Vossy in top form, Stewie available this time and Harvs a likely starter. As you say it’s important for the Bloods to win to keep the dream alive.

Five posts in Five days, well done.

Good to see a good kick up the A*s still works these days.

Yeah,JR had a mongrel day, opponent who killed him, copped a yellow for audible obscenity at a vital stage of the last quarter, carried on like a prima donna then copped the red card. Dunno that it deserved 4, given the other tribunal results Tuesday night for umpire abuse

I'll take those as well. Will be interested in the Bernies boys assessment of the state of the Hampton ground on Monday - makes Righetti look like Ethiaad.

I agree, our ground is deplorable, problem is it is a council ground and they are waiting until the end of the season to work out what they are going to do with it. The difference with our ground is we have 15 juniors teams, 180 Auskick kids, 4 senior teams and 2 schools using it every week. Fingers crossed the council puts some hard earned into it and fixes it up for everyones interests!!! It is very embarrassing.
