HAMPTON v ST BERNARD'S
OLD CAREY v UNI BLACKS
OLD CAMBERWELL v ORMOND
OLD MELBURNIANS v OLD TRINITY
ST KEVINS v OLD HAILEYBURY

No money at all on Haileybury?

I think I'll go for a look at the Rat Cage myself tomorrow.

I shall register my disappointment if Skobs fail to meet expectations.

Load up on Camberwell, Loates playing as well as all of the guns, good luck to Ormond....6th loss in a row coming up, are they plummeting towards the trap door?
Has a side ever been 5-4 and then lost 9 in a row to be relegated?
Heard Baldock, George Young, Jeff Dunne, Joffa Cunningham, Lockett and Silvio Foschini are playing for Retro Haileybury.

Tips
Snowdogs on a mud heap
OMs over OT
Wellers
SKOB
Blacks

and what do you put the 0-9 down to BS, surely not the coach.

Foschini will not be playing as he will watch his son play at Olympic park on his way to Barwon to catch up with his brother.

Skevvies to end Haileyburys season...
Bernies to hit back...

Camberwell to win in soccer like scores.

Mic Mac to win first up.

nah, Symons old man was spruiking his mount to all and sundry at the Pub last night.

BS,
Be interesting if he does - i would assume he is getting paid to coach this year - therefore they would be playing a paid player. Similar thing happened to Peninsula last year and they were demoted. However the Peninsula guy was a reserves coach i believe - not 100% sure on that.

Also won't be a mud heap - just no grass - too sandy the soil down our way!

LATE NEWS....Foschini failed fitness test replaced in side by Mordi Bromberg .

Does that mean he has to forgo his coaching fee? I understand that is the primary reason why Shanners didn't pull on the boots when the Bloods weren't travelling that well early on.

Some controversy at OC vs Ormond today, with a last second goal giving the Wellers victory. Apparently digger Keleher was the only Ormond person to go to the aftermatch, piss poor considering when Ormond won by 70 early in the season 30 OC people had a drink. Sore losers is the word out of OC, with a bunch of protests to be put forward by Ormond this week to the VAFA.
Also watched OH demolish SKOB, one word describes SKOB today, EMBARRASSING.

Did the Ormond coach go in for a lemon squash BS???

I would be surprised if your mate would approve any post-match protests being lodged.

I am registering my disappointment in Skobs. How could the magoos win by 202 points, and have the seniors get rubbed out so comprehensively?

I'm off to check the ladder. Could they be stacking the reserves in order to guarantee a premiership?

Or is it that Haileybury are so beset by injury and lack of depth that they were only able to field 17 players in the ressies today?

OH seniors overhead skills and ability to hit targets were key today - especially in the second quarter against the wind, when they kicked 6.2 to 3.6.

You cetainly have good mail briza!

Full credit to digga for coming in but my mail is not one other from the club....very disappointing, to say the least. Many very, very unimpressed.

Perhaps they are starting to believe your prediction about them going down after being 5/4!!

Wasn't at the game Briza. Was your reliable source correct?

OH simply outmarked St Kevs like I have never seen before. The bottom half of the ressie comp always falls away in the second half of the year...think OH had some sickness in the camp.

Was out at Hampton yesterday and came back ‘across the river’ thinking I had just attended a game of suburban footy at the Southern Football League. Their behaviour on and off the field was disgusting.

I will start with their actions on the field. Number 19, I am led to believe his name is Lawrence (?) committed one of the biggest dog acts that can be committed on the football field. A king hit behind play to an unsuspecting opponent. This happened midway through the first quarter, our defender was playing closely on him, Lawrence couldn’t handle the niggle and committed the thug act whilst all other players and umpires backs were turned. The St. Bernard’s player he king hit came straight off the ground and didn’t go back on with concussion & due to the fact he couldn’t see out of his eye. The eye is still very swollen today and scans will reveal the extent of the injuries to his cheek. I have been informed that that Lawrence has a record of this and was suspended earlier on in the year? Thug.

Now to off the field.

Firstly the ground is clearly the worst ground in the competition, if you haven’t ventured out to Boss James Reserve, it resembles a sand pit, disgraceful, would hate to see what it would have been like had it been raining. The ground is that bad that the Auskick kids were making sand castles in the forward pocket before the reserves match.

Secondly the behaviour by the crowd members close to the pavilion towards the umpires heading off at half time was nothing short of disgraceful. Not only did they produce a verbal barrage on the umpires with every expletive known to man sent the umpire’s way, one of their supporters also got very close to the umpires whilst delivering the spray which was a very poor effort. I will admit I didn’t see the actual incident, but I have been told this supporter got very close to the umpiring group.

Finally, I am under the impression that alcohol is not permitted at amateur grounds. This isn’t the case at Boss James. Plenty of consumption of alcohol was taking place on the far side of the ground. One example was as you were looking at the scoreboard, just to the left, a blue 4wd had its rear/boot open with a group of blokes openly consuming alcohol. They weren’t even being discreet about it and it was very easy to notice they were consuming alcohol.

I’d like to know what the posters on here from Hampton’s opinions on the above are?

More to come from this CC and a fair few Ormond players stayed and had a sausage and VB OUTSIDE the pavilion.
While on pavilions some of the visitor changerooms are a disgrace, Skobs and OC'S are too small, we have outdated ones at E E Gunn but at least you can move in them.

Hampton are a district club that belong in the SFL. Ormond are another district club full of dogs. Tough footy is great and I support it, but king hits, knees into backs whilst down, and punches thrown for absolutely no reason, that rubbish only comes from those two clubs in B Section. Is it a coincidence that they are both suburban clubs?

please expand?

So exactly how many ormond players were there for the presentations??

Have a snag( pardon the pun!!) with your own teamates around the corner doesn't constitute " coming in after a loss".

Getting the result reversed will be very difficult!
