After speaking with his so-called mate "Westy" I've found that most of what he has said are untruths and that his apparent inside information is a complete fallacy. Seems said person likes to feed off the information in posts from HR people and put a spin on it that gives his own posts a bit of weight.

It appears if you are provoked you have licence to do anything.firstly the ball was 100 metres away,secondly the oeg player was looking towards the ball and was hit from behind and thirdly there was many witnesses to say he was not provoked.The 64 dollar question is did the penalty equate to potential consequences that could have occurred.

As per LF it sounds like the Pres has put in place conditions now so hopefully it will remain at 10, although we are only 3 weeks in. We wish Westy and the lads all the best. I'm sure he likes a red, so I'm happy to put up this incentive for HRT and the other clubs.

Great surprise is that Oakleigh have not incurred any penalties, they seem to have turned this side of their play around from C to B grade. Good lesson for 1 or 2 other sides I suppose.

Interesting posts. I think B section will be a closely fought comp this year, with the possible exception of 1 or 2 sides, with injuries having a major say in the outcome of a lot of games.

Cardio, I think you might have a good idea there. Why can't the VAFA have a Most Disciplined Club award for each section of the VAFA; not just at Under 19 level?

Spot on Jason, the public award will make clubs accountable for their on-field actions but more importantly, just like the The Cabernet Awards, will ensure well managed/discipline clubs are recognised and rewarded. No use the same faces appearing every Tuesday night if they are not being held accountable.

UNI BLACKS v MHSOB - MHSOB have lost half their GF side, including Big Roger so what do we expect. Hope Caulfield are having fun again in C.
