I noticed the OH team list in the Ressies tomorrow includes big Stewie Loewe. Might take an axe with me to chop the big bastard down at the knees.

The Snag just phoned in his tips as he is indisposed. All of the above.

St. Bernards m.i.a in the 2nd half almost cost them any chance of finals
St. Kevins give three teams a litttle sniff for 2nd
Oakleigh wake up from a 3 week slumber
OH maintain pressure of St. K
OI let a valiant MHSOB have their best quarter of the year (8 goals in the 3rd)

OC $1.15
OH, OI & UB $7.50
St.Kevins $10
St. Bernards $50
Oakleigh $50

Max

WOW, Old Carey, what can you say? Obviously the 3 injuries and send off to the Bernies didnt help in the second half but Old Carey are looking the goods! The closest team I have seen to St Bedes Mentone of a few years ago.

Blacks and OI coming. Think one of these two and carey may go up. Skevs disappointing today. A few out, but expected more from them. C'mon Lynch, the time is now to stamp yourself on the comp. Must have a big one next week big fella.

Apart from a crap post by a refugee from the SFL board, this has been yet another crack week on the forum, full of constructive footy focused comments.

The highly credentialed independent assessor noted a changing of the guard with former engine room posters such as Brian Speaking and Scribe fading into the background with the enthusiastic young guns Plumber49, Max Leader, The Octopus and the ever reliable Jascave taking on the mantle of lead posters and agenda setters.Though the insightful one has noticed BS has breathed life back into one of his aliases(bob down) who intriguingly posted Sausage Rolls tips. Maybe Scribe hit the target with his suggestions regarding the BS alias catalogue. Hmmm!

The feisty Hampton Rovers crews input has diminished in keeping with it's chances of playing a part in finals action which makes Jascave's regular input even more commendable.

With the finals fast approaching and much predicting and conjecture to be done, the insightful one hopes to see more speaking from real Brian;more scribbling from Scribe; more lively feedback from Local Footy; and more biting barbs from bouncing back

Play on!

a well deserved win by the bloods yesterday. rovers were undermanned but that doesn't excuse an ordinary effort.

if you want a 'barb' watchful eye it goes to the bloods water carriers who spent more time on the ground than some players - mouthing off all day. let's hope the umpires coach points out to the muppets who ran around yesterday the rule which sets out when the water carriers are permitted on the field of play and how they should conduct themselves.

Don't tell me the Old Haileybury "supporters" were at it again. Targetted Butler (11) for Old Ivanhoe a few weeks back - as he had a slow start. He must have heard them as he won the match - kicked 5 goals 7 or something. The talk today was how they got in to Semmell who lined up on Voss. Semmell responded within minutes with perhaps the goal of the year - class act that one. Their coach may need to have a talkin to them as the finals approach.

I reckon this round could be the one which will decide who will get into the finals and be in the first semi final in 3 weeks. With Old Haileybury, Old Ivanhoe, Uni Blacks all on 40 points, St Bernards & Oakleigh still a chance of being in the finals despite a game behind the three clubs mentioned above, a win is of vital importance this week. Old Carey looks to have the minor premiership wrapped up after their win yesterday.

OE vs OI - form dictates OI to win comfortably. OE's last game at the school forever. OI will need to be on their toes.

MHSOB & Hampton R. Again don't take them for granted. It may come back to bite them.

Now the fun starts.

St. Bernards vs UBl. A win for UB that they are still alive whilst St.B will need to start planning for 2011. If St.B wins, they will still be planning for 2011, but UBl will need to some upsets to be still alive.

St. Kevins vs OC. If OC win by their average margin over the last 6-8 weeks, then St.K will open the door for three other teams to get 2nd. With OC playing MHSOB in the last game, they will retain top position regardless of the game against St.K.

St.K will have its final game against HR, who would love to have a say in the fate of the final 4. A loss in this game and St.K's season could be over.

Oak vs OH. OH will need to be on top of their game, as Oak may have woken from their slumber. Oak will be playing for pride. Small chance of making the finals.

Predicted Ladder after Round 18
OC
OH
OI
UBl
St.K
Oak
St.B
HR
OE
MHSOB
