2 phone calls to potential recruits - $1
A plate of nachos @ Smoken Joes for the recruiting meeting - $15
A plumbing contract offered from Brad Teal real estate - $100k
One got the club into an enormous amount of strife the other won the B&F and BOTH are now p*ssing off to Kyneton AFTER 2 YEARS - PRICELESS!!!

My 4: St.Bernards - If they keep their list, they'll go close. Kids of 2 yrs ago are ready to go.

St.Kevins - Still have quality players. Will be thereabouts.

Haileybury - Should win enough games and have enough experience.

OC: Ready to win. Should go close.

OI are the unknown - Some good young players and real goers.

Bouncing Oakleigh wont win a game
Will offer my two bobs worth(note my miserable tipping last year before reading much into it)

Top Four
St Kevins(if they survive key retirements, have a top onball division)
St Bernards(guns returning, plus youth with experience=premiership contender)
Old Carey- finished season well after horrific injury run, and young list like Bernards will only get better but need a key forward to improve
Old Old Haileybury- Still have plenty of class, but will depend on an injury free year.

All in all though expecting another even year , with anyone from 1 to 8 a finals chance and from 3-10 a relegation chance depending on injuries and form

It would be interesting to see Old Haileybury in the top 4 but you never know.

My Tips, in no particular order, for the final 4 are:

St Bernards
St Kevins
Uni Blacks
Melb High (of course)

Will be a great year though and a very close one as Mr Freebaser has already pointed out.

Early wins are the key!

Same for me at this stage of the season, except maybe Melb High. Could struggle. B Section looks to be another cracker next year, with a couple of exceptions.

Unfortunately the matches between StB and OEG will probably result in the bombers getting belted before they can get off the ground. On current form OEG will be lucky to remain in the top 8. I'd like to be proven wrong.

it is Phil Plunkett, and I believe he also missed out on the Marcellin coaching job in A Grade.
Good record though, 59 wins out of 60 and 3 flags.
Interesting to hear why 2 clubs turned him down!!!

my reason for the query was that i understood phil was appointed the 2010 oak park coach not long after the season ended. which makes me wonder about the rumour he was being courted by o.i.

Keep the vomit coming chris it will make them play just that little bit harder!

Yes KB if everyone keeps potting them maybe they will pay with a little bit of ticket instead of none at all. You guys are dreaming, sh!t culture, sh!t people. If you do not think a cleanout is needed then your one of the ones that needs to go as well.

Seems spelling is not your strong point.I think you meant play and ticker.Perhaps a few years at Ess Grammar may have helped you.
I believe they are good with slow learners.
