Wouldn’t pick someone from Old East Keilor to be bringing up finals performances. Especially with the history that they boast.
The suggestion that your club lacks ticker is not just based on last year’s pitiful performances but the overall history of your club.
For all you newbie’s onto the board that are unaware of the horrid history Old East Keilor Hill boast ill run you through it...
2009- 2 wins & finishes bottom in A Section- RELEGATED.
2008- Choked in the B section grand final.
2007- Choked in the B section Prelim.
2006- Choked in the B section Prelim.
2003- LOSES the B section prelim.
2001- LOSES the C section grand final
2000- LOSES the D section Grand Final.
1999- LOSES only final in D section.
S*it club. S*it culture. S*ithouse history.

I'm sure they lost 2 finals on '99 to go out in straight sets (final 5 that year).

I look forward to playing these 'bernie boys' next season.
Hopefully we get them in the finals too. Can pencil that game in for a win!
I hear Robbins is thinking of pulling on the boots again.

I reckon he will, but when he loses his old job he might change his mind.i'd be surprised. there's a major downside fee wise.

I think you're right;ageing list, and has their best player(ruck) had his shoulder reco yet? For their sake i hope he has, because it is a 6mth recovery at least..Grad....Do you give High any hope of making the finals? Any major recruits?
I think a balanced view would conclude that the current squad would have uphill battle.
Did you say good ones, he mighten have to be good at a job that he has lost
Thank you AM as that was my point, with him seeking a non playing coaching position there are no problems as Ormond knocked him back for a second time, but if he wants to play thats another matter.

experience and youth is the perfect mix, but you didnt answer my question re McIntyre. I take it that means no reco yet?I do agree with you that we have some experienced players on our list, but a mix of youth is also evident. Big Roger is doing okay, he was recently seen enjoying himself over at Flemington for Stakes day.
MIO, from what i saw last year B Section was very even. Majority of games decided by 3 - 4 goals. If we can take our chances, and win the close ones, anything is possible.
It is a company that employs people from Ormond and that was part of the deal that got him back there from the Dogs.If he was to lose his job because Ormond didn't appoint him and we did, well that is poor form from Ormond, personally i thought they were a bit better that that. At the end of the day if that happened, we would do everything in our powers to assist him with employment. Not sure it is worth ruining a blokes employment over moving to coach, even if he was to have a kick (which is extremely doubtful). At the end of the day he won a C grade flag off his own boot for you & against us - surely that counts for something!
