just a rhyming thing bedford. didn't mean to raise your ire. players and coaches come and go. it's part of the footy merry-go-round. i'd love to see the monders and beauie play off for the 2010 flag. good for local footy. good for district footy clubs.

OEG regrouping,will be very competitive!

Bedford, you're a very hostile person and you hold on to things for way to long, i.e. the time keeper incident.

I suggest seeing someone about this. You're either a has-been or a never-been, I'm guessing the latter..

The Ormond Football Club isn't the be all the end all of amateur football.
It was a joke with BB , champ . Have all respect for Robbins and i hope he does well.
OAFC is not the be all and end all of ammo footy thats for sure.

I just had a look at some of your posts champ and they are full of hostile posts, so you know the old saying that people in glass houses-----------

Griffo, I hear exciting news at the pit with Danny Byrne returning, if true thats fantastic news, an absolute SUPERSTAR and great fella, well done.
Looking forward to the Pitters and OEG banter, good to have it back!

I have heard that there will be something of an exodus from OEG.
Cooper (who just won their best and fairest) has gone to Kyneton along with Condos.
The cashed up EDFL clubs will offer the better OEG players very good coin to leave.
Could all be rumours though.......

Correct. Looking fwd to Dancin being back on board...Bernies midfield just keeps getting stronger.

Just a couple of their senior players having a crack at the title, dont think all is forgotten over a handshake either! Good on em for having a crack at least, unlike their efforts in A-grade!

As far as i can tell from last season St Bernards were the team to beat all year, but when the going got tough, they clearly went missing.
Season finished after week 1 of the finals after being top 2 team all year is disappointing.

Way off the mark. They were a powerhouse in the first half, then injuries took their toll, and they managed to hold on through some promising juniors however didn't have the experience or size come finals. With players back, some recruits and experience for said juniors, they are looking ominous. How are the ageing veterans at MHSOB going to cope with B ? I think this would be a far more interesting discussion

Have to argee with Arch. Bernies were gone by the end of the season but have a young list chock full of talent that will again be competitive in 2010 especially with recruits. Certain finalists.

One would have to assume that St Bernards will still be playing come September if they keep their list together. Having said that, youth compared to experience can sometimes be the difference in big games, as Arch mentioned earlier.
We do have some old heads running around, but we also have youth that complement our game plan. It will be an interesting season next year.
I'd like to know other peoples thoughts on who will be the teams to watch next season, both top and bottom of the ladder.

Would have to say St Bernards/St Kevins will again be the ladder leaders, not much info on the A grade teams coming down. Uni Blacks if they recruit well will be a good challenger. 2010 will again be quite an even comp.

Traditionally the two coming up will struggle, so I dont see why that will change for next season.
OH, St Bernards, SKOB and Blacks would start favorites with OI the great unknowns, they finished the season with a couple of wins.
It all means nothing if a bunch of guns come to a club ala OM's this year..

Are you taking the p1ss BS? OH???? Surely not! The other yes.

- Add Madden, Potter and co. back to the Bernies fold and i will optimistically put us on top.
- Uni Blacks finished well last year so ill have them up there.
- Skevvies of course as i like to se my old mates doing well
- Maybe Carey as a smokey...but no idea

OI and OEG could do anything off there performance last year.

2 phone calls to potential recruits - $1
A plate of nachos @ Smoken Joes for the recruiting meeting - $15
A plumbing contract offered from Brad Teal real estate - $100k
One got the club into an enormous amount of strife the other won the B&F and BOTH are now p*ssing off to Kyneton AFTER 2 YEARS - PRICELESS!!!
