Interesting. That's not what i heard in either case. I hear SKOBS are looking at having plenty back, while i hear OC have a couple returning from VFL( no idea who, but would hazard a guess at Smithwick and Roach or maybe Mqueen-something). It is not even Jan yet, so not sure where these rumours are coming from. The OE ones sound very juicy though if true. There are also some murmurs around OI losses, but these may be in the same boat as the two above.Heard Carey and Skobs might both be in trouble. Carey look like losing a couple of their young guns to VFL and with not much recruiting, and very few returning from injury. Skobs have lost a lot of experience, and some of their injured players are not returning either.
can anyone shead any truth to the rumors that that the coaching staff at oeg have resigned

Lockie Teal is leaving OEG to play at old Geelong. I think he went to school up there.
Over 250 players at training at Bernards last night*...exciting times!!
(*2 edfl sides were also using our grounds)
We're also pleased to report good numbers after Monday's training at the river with Strathmore, Oak Park and Glenroy all joining us.
Your a comedian too MIO! Hows your team shaping up for next year? Any truth to the rumors of exodus at SKOB? I hear a former All Australian Country centreman is playing at SKOB, is this true?Teal wont play this year..... I hear running his landscape business and doesnt want to risk injury. (Which is fair enough is case anyone thinks this is a dig).

Thanks mate...some of my better work. I honestly dont have much on an idea. Reasonable numbers at the moment apparently and the midfield that drove the team into the finals (obviously didnt get the results we were looking for) we all be fronting up again. Gravs and Shutdown will both be losses but bound to happen sometime unfortunately. Hopefully the player spoken about is able to get onto the track...has a run of rotten luck with injury. I have not heard of any exodus, I would find it strange to be honest given the make up of the team. I guess if there is some truth people will name names soon enough.

I wonder whether Fremantle will return. He could help them enormously, can anyone confirm an earlier post talking about Roach and Smithwick?. Have also heard the Oakleigh have recruited very very well. They could be a surprise packet. Looks like another even year.My mail on a few sides -
OEG - Have lost some good quality tall players but have 3 handy replacements from the country. Some really talented young players coming through. Coaches are staying.
CAREY - Top 3 are quality but need more depth.
OAKLEIGH - Will really struggle.
MHSOB - Ruckman has gone but will keep most of their top line players.
BERNIES - Will be top 3 definitely. Kids from 2-3 years ago now cherry ripe.
IVANHOE - Big Heta gone? Captain gone, A few O/S but some good kids. Hopefully the VAFA will supply a cage for the feral old dudes that patrol the boundary. A blight on a good club.
SKOBS: If they can harden the F*&% up they are a big chance. Simpson, Dowd etc are too good for B Grade
HEY LEE BERRY: Devestating on their day but too inconsistent. With the lack of quality in B Grade they could be the team to watch.
What about Hampton, Robbo reckons they will be the fittest teamMy mail on a few sides -

Have heard the following;
OH: all ex Saints out -Wrong, the big one is 50/50 the rest ok with one being a virtual assistant coach to the newbie who will struggle for awhil
OC: McQueen Miscamble NOT back at Carey, signed in Eastern League
Blacks: Very strong, added a few. - dartboard
SKOB: added a gun CHF and All Australian on baller among others. incorrect my mail
Bernies: Hollywood back in town? dartboard
Hampton: Two ex SFL rep players along Robbins, as well as a recently delisted AFL KPP, will be strong. who can comment
Oakleigh: Throwing money at everyone to be competitive. something about deck chairs on the titanic rings a bell
OEG: Biggs gone? Lots of turnover which is to be expected coming off a shocking season. Have a strong school setup so should push for finals easily.dartboard
Havent heard anything about the other 2 clubs.
pre-christmas training has been very tough, 3 sessions a week with 90% of the seniors rocking up each night.. every club feels a million bucks around Christmas tho, we are making no bold predictions.
