How long does it take for a player from another league (ie WAFL) to be given the green light by the VAFA to play for his new VAFA club?

Not long these days Jase, it's not like 15 years ago when they made it difficult for players who had previously been paid.

Hi All,

Leading Division 1 Essendon District team looking for quality forward, excellent remuneration available.

Contact the club on 0429121426.

Who cares about SKOB, we know they will be there abouts, any other news from places like Oakleigh and MHSOB or the two sides coming down?

Word on the street is Mark Coughlan has signed with Skob......can anyone confirm/deny?

That would appear to be true :thumbsu:

Very handy pick-up. If anything, he'll take the 1st tag every week, leaving Dowd and Simpson to operate under less strict supervision!

Personally, I reckon the return of Ryan Chard would be almost equally as important to SKOB's chances of a flag in 2010.

NB - I haven't seen the clearances hit the VAFA website for these SKOB recruits as yet, but presume that will follow in due course.

Coggs will go alright, with or with out a tag. Scribe, who will tag Marchesani?
Theres also a couple of better recruits than Chard who are under wraps at the moment, Chard will ease in and donk around in a pocket somewhere...

Just bumping his pic so new posters know what we are talking about.
Very, very good pick-up, well done to St Kevin's. Looking forward to watching Harv's go head to head with him when we play SKOB.

Sounds like he could almost be as influential as Al Parton!

VALE.......The Rat Cage

Season 2010 @ T.H. King Oval
It is with great pleasure that SKOB formally announces its move to T.H. King Oval for the upcoming season. The move to T.H. King follows feedback from members and players keen to see the Club move to a new home ground that provides greater potential for SKOB to grow and expand, thereby better preparing us to compete at the highest level of the VAFA.

TH King I'm sure will be renamed with a more appropriate name, like The Dollman Mahoney Oval.
