Well let's say a middle of the road A Grade side like Marcellin would smash a middle of the road B Grade side like St Kevins by 25 goals. I'd like to see that.

Have you checked the ladders lately?

Marcellin came third last and narrowly avoided relegation and St Kevin's finished the home and away second on the ladder and played in two finals. The previous year 2008, Marcellin won the B grade flag...so hardly a middle of the road A grade side by any loose definition.

I don't know by what definition you call these two sides "middle of the road"?

Yep, so maybe they would only get smashed by 15 goals in the home and away, or maybe 20 if it was a finals game.

So you got it rght?

Bob (talk em) Down, doing his bit for the team on March 18th predicted that St Kevins would finish mid-field this year. Check it out. Its hard to know which of his (and my) posts to take seriously Douglas. Enough said.

I do have to admit to be wrong though Doug over my choice of middle of the road clubs

Don't get the connection? Bob's predictions have nothing to do with your examples!
Anyway, all I know is that your examples of middle of the road clubs were both wrong and you have been altering my posts and squirming ever since!

Stormont? 2's player in the EDFL wasn't he?
Stormont has been O/S for last two yrs. Kicked 4 goals against Ormond, two weeks back in practice game.. Quick type who kicks goals.
Add to that Hakim 6ft 6 who kicked 70 odd last yr in EDFL Skurrie 6 ft 5 who kicked 65 in B grade 2 yrs ago and Flaherty 6ft 3 who kicked 50 last yr from CHF in A grade and you have a handy fwd line.
Pretty impressed with Blacks, had an even team all pretty solid that could run. Not overly tall but they were hard at the ball and skillfull. Love to hand ball out of defence and run and create and play a very similar game style to alot of A grade clubs.
Should be an interesting year, bring on rd 1.
For the record my top 4 in no order would be St B, Blacks, St Kevs, OEG.
Havent heard alot about Ivanhoe, and its a big jump for teams coming up from C.

SKOB beat Bayswater by about 5 goals on thursday night. Played mostly a reserves team with their two key forward debuting for 2010 and both played well. Heard that OEG were impressive. Round 1 should be interesting. Can't wait.

You're in a glass house throwing ayres rock's I think cheif/buddy/junior etc. (the effect here is to be overly condescending)

You follow the melbourne vixens and according to your location, you are currently residing on top of your tractor?

Chances are, if you're a tractor and netball enthusiast your thoughts should only be allowed to get voice in the opinions section of the Swan Hill Bugle.

Anyone else getting this vibe...?

Local,

There may be some spare time to devote to BF matters (let's face it, when isn't there?), but honestly, I'm more of a words man than a number cruncher.

Reckon OTP would be the perfect choice given his past efforts.

If a tipping competition is organised, my picks for this week are:

OI (6 goals)
OEG (13 points)
UB (3 goals)
SKOB (1 point)
Oakleigh (27 points)

4 sleeps to go

My tips for round 1:
OI by 45(last game for points one was winning A Section games, one just made C finals)
OEG by 50(Top 4 vs bottom 4)
OH by 21(Voss at the Badlands)
SKOB 12 (Miles Quinn debut for SKOB)
Oakleigh by 2 (heard the same OC pre season crap last year)
