A very sound effort against Beaumaris after the injuries against Old Ivanhoe. Expect them to be near the top at Round 18.

Been out of bigfooty action this year due to not having seen a game all year (pathetic I know) ... surely the stop Gia stop SKOB talk is ridiculous...first of all there is two of them (joke) and secondly I can't imagine they just bomb long to Mick. Word out there is the rovers may lose players to the bush for cash. Key players**. Bottom of the pack this year. Wont be having too much to sing about.

Marcellin are struggling, and this club doesnt look like it will be returning to A grade or staying in B. Merge on the way?? on their way to the division leagues.

Beauy are recruiting some decent players. Middle to bottom team. C grade is far different to B grade boys. Some players who will lose interest half way throught the season when that winning culture dissapears and reality kicks in.

St Kevs, have lost some, but are also getting some handy types.
Middle to top team. Consistant & Dangerous.

Rumour says St Bernards are getting some stars back, but my thinking is the best is past these players. Middle to top team, Can they travel?? can they return to A Grade. probably not.

Beach Boys have held onto their list fairly well, and have some giants returning home. As much as it kills me, Top. A grade has matured their young ones, Favourites, but do their youngsters know how to win?

Caulfield - who cares.. C Graders, and the chokers who are lucky to gain access to B Grade. How did they not win the C grade comp.

OI - Rumour says the big main man was coming back to crunch all ruckman before him, but ill squash that rumour right now. Middle to bottom. Hope they leave B Grade, cos everything about their home ground stinks.

Micky, no misquote as I see Westy state this week he felt disappointed the club was getting three field umpires when it played a fellow district team instead of the regular two. I think we can all read into that what the comments were aimed at.

Benny's response was, as per a number of posters on here correctly pointed out was that the large size of David St complemented the use of three umpires.

Also interesting Benny described the talks as satisfactory, mmm, the comments to blame losses on the umpire department may have put a few noses out of joint I think.

Not the only team to struggle for wins, but to start blaming the fixturing of umpires seems strange.

Looks like all should be ok for next year as only one umpire would fit on your 12 month sabbatical ground (RG Chisholm Reserve) with the East Sandy juniors next year

Don't know what I'm looking forward to the most later in the year, Santa arriving or the release of the VAFA 2012 fixture so i can engrave into the calendar when you guy's will play the "Poo and Blue".

Should be a cracker as both teams go for the Robbins Trophy in front of a small crowd (made up of a few lads on their way home from clubbing the night before and a little under the weather) with one club umpire and local kids running the boundary, that is ok course if the "Poo and Blue" stay up and not go to D1.
