Max and Murphy, time to 'spew up' all that you know! Wombat, thanks for your response.
109 at Caulfield's training session Wed night! No Tim Allen playing, has gone bush. A few of the blokes were talking about some ex St Kilda bloke at SKOB and an ex Brisbane Lions bloke at Oakliegh, any truth? Also heard 23 at Marcellin their first night.

Chris Hefferman has never heard of Uni Blacks nor any other Ammo team.

P&D not even close on that one!!

Now the madness begins with the registrations formally starting today.

Who will sign the biggest name that actually doesn't play?
how are the ho ho's looking max? any additions of note?
skobs have been very very very quiet of late (in comparison to this time last year)....

Scizza will be impossible to replace, but some players returning from OS and from other comps will see solid depth at the club.

Don't believe we will have a "Robert Harvey" signing but we can all dream.

Should be an even year, as there won't (early call) a MHSOB of OE.

Max, did I see a hint of jealousy that we had 109 on the track the other night? Look out for the Fields in 2011, we wont be pushovers.....hopefully.
Murphy, how about you give us something, always asking but not telling, will you guys win it?
Will St Kevs choke for the 3rd year in a row?

George Kostakenellisantoniose will be the biggest name who doesn't play.

we have a website pumpanddump...have a peruse
here's what i know thus far (or think i know).

skobs- not sure if they can replace significant retirements of mahoney, perrett and williams. Coughlan wont play more than 50% of the season. Will be strong as usual, especially if the gino's are back from bush
caulfield- no idea ...apart from your info
brighton- no idea... hard to beat at home on that postage stamp
ivanhoe- always big bodied and definately hard to beat at the lodge, curatolo will be a huge loss. Weatherly could win the goalkicking by a mile if he plays the whole year. will be top 4 id say
hampton- no idea about them really... uncle mick, help
marcellin- just happy we get to play on the carpet again, no idea how theyll go
oakleigh- lost a lot of their key older players to retirement, ?downwards
uni blacks- always strong, bat deeper than any other side, will depend on their ins and outs as they always have a decent turnover.
beaumaris- absolutley no idea
bernards- some key players back, pearson & madden to name a few. Younger kids of past 3 years now hitting their peak. Should be strong, but too early for wild predictions

was that enough of a dump for you?

I'll stick with my original prediction of the Snow Dogs.

Too many quality players returning and a new coach which usually changes some attitudes and expectations.

Not sure about the Beach Boys either but they are always hard to beat on their wind swept postage stamp.

Beaumaris could be the surprise packet. A proven coach and an influx of players from bayside areas.

Ivanhoe - No Curatolo and some doubt on the availability of other quality players. Should be thereabouts though.

Uni B - If they're half as good as last year they will still be a force.

Have no idea on the rest. Hampton would have to improve in a number of areas to be a chance and Oakleigh might just lack quality. Kevs might take a while to get over the scarring of last year and Marcellin need to find some players to get back up.

Not a lot to add yet ML. First night back last night. A few players caught the travel bug during last season (the likes of Corp, Pinto etc), but are committed to a full season in 2011. They actually played in a flag in Canada after leaving mid-season and have brought a couple of recruits with them. Still very early days, but with Robbins to add to the playing stocks we'll be confident of a more successful year than the last.

Thats great news re Madden, let's hope his hammies can go the journey, a really good player to watch, even if he is kicking our butt!
Another eagerly anticipated year ahead, SKOB have not recruited many that arent known to the club, we will rely on our juniors coming through, ala St Bernards and De La Salle.
Great to have Josh and Mick Giansiracusa back though, exciting talents and ripping blokes.

Why get so excited about getting 2 guys around 30-odd years old who turned their back on your club ages ago to chase coin in the bush?

Hardly upstanding examples to the young blokes.

Who is the new 2s coach? Paul Roos?

whats wrong with having 30+year olds ?.... its served the following clubs well in the past decade (Xavs, Skobs, OH, Trinity etc....)

Grum, not entirely accurate. Both only ever played for their hometown club in NSW, Josh played in Sydney when living there, Mick has played the majority of his footy at SKOB.
Bedders, wrapped to have Kornel on board, seems like a really nice chap.
Murph, agree 100%.

Are these real names or just hopefulls? Murphy, you dump was full of empty info, come on, produce!!!!!

Not hopeful pump, both are defs. Both havent missed many sessions. Madden is going well on the back of first pre-season in a long time. Pearson back after being interstate for Uni and playing some games for Southport.

The others youll just have to wait and see.

Is 6'7 a good height for a CHF??????

Andy Merrington?

I like Hampton this year, think that they are on a similar path to Old Carey, a couple of years in B Section, their best players are younger rather than older in the main, shown the ability to knock off some top sides.
