You are kidding right?

They were born upon the European Alps and used as working/rescue dogs.

They use to carry a little barrel of brandy under their collar due to the understanding at the time that alcohol helps delay hypothermia and frostbite when they found stranded people in the mountains. A myth might I add.

Alas, the nickname Snowdogs suits and I doubt will be going away anytime soon!
