yeah I have picked them but I think they are missing Dean and Langdon though. Seem to have been derailed after Marcelin game.

A must win for both sides, in fact this game the STB v Marc & OB v HR games are critical as a win can push you closer to finals and a loss pushes you closer to relegation. Can't wait for 6pm saturday to see the outcome.

I'm not joking, after all, there was mention about the scoreboard going on the blink completely during last Friday night's match at Sportscover Arena. The main scoreboard has been in operation now for 25 years and it's now well past it's use-by date. Apparently, in the Amateur Footballer yesterday, it said that installing a new scoreboard will cost about $40,000. Where would the VAFA find that sort of money to get a new scoreboard up and running?

They have a very nice fines system working Jase.

Personally, and this comes with extreme bias, I would rather the VAFA dump $40k into trying to get some more umpires into the lower grades competition. The challenge of trying to supply field (reserves) boundry & goal ( seniors ) each week continues to present problems for clubs in the lower grades......and the odd talking point in close games.
