Well my hopes of him recapturing some sembelence of what he once was have been dashed by reality and based on our list and what our objectives are, i'm OK with him not playing and giving someone else a chance. I think Spurr can manage the leadership and organisation in the backline on matchday and the coaches during the week. That's just my opinion though.Are we?
His main role now is to be effective and to mentor an inexperienced backline. Quite happy if he only plays home games.
