Take me to the magic of the moment on a glory night.

Seriously, I would have loved to have been in Eastern Europe when the communist bloc collapsed.

I would've convinced Hitler invading Poland wasnt a good idea.

1989 was an amazing year, Soviet bloc collapses, Tianamen Square, Apartheid starts to fall apart, Khomeini dies, Soviets leave Afghanistan, the Satanic Verses, Suu Kyi jailed in Burma, first cracks in the Thatcher rule, and I lost my virginity. A trip of a year.

I'd go back to the Tyne river in 1940 when the Luftwaffe tried taking a railway bridge to ship yards out. A five hundred pounder landed in the field next to my old mans house and didn't detonate. I'd go to the factory in Germany and make sure the detonator wasn't faulty.

Good post.

Less Geordies could only be a good thing.

I would go back in time to 2006 and tie up and gag Nick Davis.

And 1997, switch around the umpire so he could see Colbert's mark.

:(

Footy wise I would go back to the 99 prelim and make sure Dean Wallis kicks the ball half a second earlier.

colbert mark

You should have a coffee with a number of specific posters on the Adelaide board. They will tell you all about umpires and their deliberate influence on games.

Adelaide fans were as shocked as anyone that Colbert wasn't paid that nearly fifty meters from goal. Normally Victorian umpires pay any half chances against us, especially in our back lines.

We're not really Geordies. We're refugees from the far north who moved tyneside to avoid poverty and war.. The poms/romans did the same to the far north as they are doing to the middle east now.

Wallace was a campaigner. We were getting to strong for the poms liking, they knew sooner or later we'd outgrow the treaty and not need them, such was how civilized and multi cultural we in the far north were. Wallace was a means to an end for them, divide and conquer strategy. Never ever under estimate the end game of the limeys.

I'd actually like to go and hang around in Revolutionary Paris. Get me some guillotine watching on.

I would go back to 07 and make sure Collingwood kick one more goal in the Prelim.

Going back to the week after that, conjuring up a difference of 20 goals may be a bit much.
