West Coast will run out onto Subiaco in thier old '92 strip for the second time this season when we play Hawthorn on Sunday. Which is a pleasant surprise, as I thought that the only other game we were wearing them in was against the Cats.

West Coast are only waiting on the AFL to give the all clear and the old jumper will be back for good in the form as the clubs away strip for next season. I am extreamly pleased with this news and I don't know about anybody else but I am quite happy with the current home strip.

:) :) :) :)

Well i do like the current home strip, but would prefer we used the old one, and kept the new home one as our "alternate" guernsey

Great to hear we will at least(well should) get the old ones back:)

Really? I thought there was going to be some sort of vote.

Thats what they had on 7 news tonight, apparently it's been ok'd by the board and they are now only waiting on the all clear from the AFL.

I don't mind the current home jumpers, but much prefer the 97 jumpers. I also think navy blue beats royal blue hands down. Actually, I think royal blue and gols is just plain ugly, but would happily accept them for the alternate strip.

Sweet now on Sunday i'll be the epitome of coolness in my 10th anniversary premiership guernsey because ill match the players ;)

Great news about the jumpers! Should wear them for the rest of the season.

I'm just worried that the AFL will deny us permission as I think the rule is you need to give them 12 months permission and the exact dates the club will wear them.

I dont think the AFL will stand in the way of this decision, surely even they are sick of the 'thing' we call our away guernsy?? :)

Should be good to see the boys in the old jumpers for Sundays game too

 Saw them at The Eagles store today - they look good! At $125 they're about $35 dearer than the current ones though! Apparently only 200 have been released too.

Great news!!!!!!!!

I dont mind the current BCG strip as it does resemble a football jumper and the Eagles in some manner, but I hate that "thing" they wore last weekend. I dont think anyone could play a game of football in that thing........

Apparently we are now not wearing it against the Cats, only the Hawks and Carlton

Theyve probably arranged it that way so we can wear them at home. I think the game against the Cats is at Skilled Stadium (or whatever its called)

Yeah but I got a 10% discount for being a member which softened the blow if only a little ;) Yep there are only 200 made, got mine at the AFL store in Booragoon and there were like 5 left there after I bought mine 2 weeks ago. I was going to wait until next year but I did read somewhere that if we do change the jumpers back next year they will be changing the logo on the front to the updated version so I just had to have the original :)

I'd rather see the boys wear the 1992 strip against Geelong rather than Carlton if we had to choose only one. Maybe more of a psychological thing, even through Geelong probably doesn't have m(any) 1992 GF players still playing.

Surely the AFL can't fine us if we "accidently" leave the dogs breakfast design in Perth for away games and by some good fortune, our 1992 jumpers have mysteriously made their way over to Melbourne. :D
