Great to see O'Connor finding his feet at this level. From an Irish perspective, could both himself and Tuohy be accommodated in the same backline or are they too similar in terms of their roles?

As evident there are 8 defenders in the best 22 with 3 in the depth with real talent
I cannot remember having such a wealth of defender talent in the one Geelong squad.
At least 8 of them are long term talent too.
This mob will be miserly for many more years to come.
On top of that Scarlett has shown them the rotational defense method of his heyday.

Should say David the Cat that Scarlo's misfits are 162 points stiffer than the 2nd best defence (Hawthorn) so It's no knock on whoever is the one to miss out.
Just think Kolo as the medium sized player in the back six performs a valuable role that no one else on the list really can.
