Parts of our back line were good other parts not so good
I really think we need Goldsack in it to add a bit more stability
I think it might be time for Langdon to find a bit of form in the VFL
Reid and Ramsay are very, very good

Yes Langdon needs a wake up call also with Reid in don't need Frost for me bring in 2 of Marsh Goldsack or Toovey

Who was on Riewoldt? Was playing well on him up until the last quarter...

Not sure how we have have three key defenders in the team yet Langdon at times gets the short straw on Riewoldt. But on balance they were good.

Sinclair keeps on performing. He is ultra competitive, has great speed, and most importantly takes a risk with his run and carry and is a reliable kick for us.

Reid looked great.

Ramsay is a goer, poor disposal last night

Brown, didnt really notice him, Griffiths didnt hv any impact though...so i guess job done.

Williams, Langdon and Frost all had a few howlers that stood out...sh1t happens.

If Reid & Brown can play in tandem for the rest of the year , we will win more than we lose

Its bloody frustrating his run of injury set backs , 9 games in the last two years to essentially one of our top 5 most important players

I hope he gets a nice look at it this year and plays a whole season

Oxley and Ramsy have nice disposal I think we need to get the ball to these guys a lot more coming out of defence. Likewise with Reid.

Brown looks to be in good defensive form, but I can't work out why he regularly seems to get a relatively easy defensive assignment. He doesn't offer a target. He doesn't peel off his man to help out defensively as much as the others seem to be expected to. If your playing his style, you need to be nullifying a gun and he's got the skills to, yet he doesn't get sent to Franklin, Riewoldt, not even Vickery.

Good. He needs a run in the 2's, he did need an extended period in the 2's last year. Just wish that Sharenberg didnt do his knee because he is the real like for like replacement we have for Langdon's role. The rest of the backman positions from last nights game look fairly solid and need some games together to gel and i think Sharenberg is that last piece not Langdon.

A lot of people on here bag Toovey a lot (I can be one of them at times), but I feel like he would try a bit harder than Langdon. Langdon does not look interested.

I agree. Reid and Ramsay were very good. Reid provided stability and his kicking was superb. Pendles was good in the 1st quarter. I think that Frost should go back to the Reserves before Langdon. Frost, has he has been all pre-season was 3m behind his player all night and was ineffectual in all aspects. With the addition of Goldy it provides some height, stability, better decision making and better ball movement. I don't like the fact that Marley is doing all the kick outs.
